.:Physical Appearance:. Lincoln stands tall with an athletic and almost threateningly bulky build; a clear warrior in both stance and stature. His dark skin is embellished with dark tribal tattoos all over his body, Quite often you will see him with face paint, though as he has integrated into the Skaikru, he wears less and less-- even in fights. No, he doesn't fit in with those who live in Arkadia, but the changes he's made since first interacting with the Skaikru are immense. So much so, some think of him as a tamed grounder-- when that is not the case at all.
.:Height:. 6'3
.:Portrayed by:. Ricky Whittle

.:Personality:. :. Stoic and emotionless are often words used to describe Lincoln, when in fact he is simply disciplined. He rarely shows emotion, especially when the stakes are high. His strong silence is accompanied by a great burden and need to assist those who he is allied with. Often times he will chose morality over loyalty, as he believes that mistakes are made when following that path. Though he was born Trikru, he has sacrificed that loyalty to assist the original Skaikru many times before, and even now lives among them. Unfortunately, his calm demeanor and loyalty to the Skaikru has made him appear almost pet-like. It's a fact he is blind to-- though now loyalties are being tested. Being away from Octavia; the love of his life has always been a cause of strain as he is unable to protect her. Instead he has burdened himself with the weight of all the prisoners of Arkadia and their well being, with help from Skaikru like Abby and Miller.
.:Special Skills:. Skilled in combat, Lincoln is also an incredible scout and an expert in the art of blending into his surroundings and going unnoticed. Hand to hand combat is his prefered method of fighting, and therefore he is well trained in the art. Lincoln has also been taught basic medical care and can administer it in the field-- especially if under pressure.

.:Birthplace:. TonDC
.:Family:. Lincoln was raised by his father, and has no siblings. His mother was never in the picture, and instead he was brought up by a traditionalist. Though his father has since passed, the stain of his strict nature has never been completely washed away. Nyko is like family.
.:Occupation:. exGuard of Arkadia
.:History:. Since he was a child, Lincoln has never been ignorant to the harshness of the world. His father trained him young and taught him to fight and kill. He was meant to be a warrior, with the stoic nature and the loyalty of his father and his father before him. The wide eyed young boy never took to this kind of training. He learned, but never stopped questioning the traditions and the values of Trikru. He was far from a pacifist, but instead followed his own morality. The world was too much for that, though. His first real kill was a man from the sky. He crashed into the earth, and Lincoln fed him and did his best to nurse him back to health. The young boy did not understand the enemy tongue and couldn't do anything but try to assist-- but when he turned to his father for aid he was greeted with a kill command. He tried to fight, but his father swore to him that he would be a traitor if he didn't obey. If he didn't protect his people. Do his duty.
Lincoln grasped desperately for independence as he grew. He followed orders reluctantly and learned that speaking his mind was useless when it came to his people. Instead he became a silent observer and eventually an incredible scout. Whether he was gathering intel on Azgeda or travelling to each edge of the map, he would return with what he was sent for. His success as a scout made his rebellious tendencies a minor issue, until the day that another ship fell. Lincoln was one of the first to watch; to count and to take note on these sky people; Skaikru. They were ruthless people-- irresponsible and not disciplined... He took down their faces and their numbers, but the more he watched the more he grew attached to one.
He had never seen anyone quite like Octavia before. She was beautiful, strong, rebellious-- but also inspired by the land. Lincoln grew very attached to watching her and drawing her. The scout knew that his fantasy of her would never actually come to life but that didn't mean he couldn't watch her. Soon watching the Skaikru became less about the group and more about Octavia. Then she fell... She harmed herself in a way that he knew the Skaikru wouldn't be able to heal. They had no idea what they were doing... he couldn't let her die, but he was so torn between saving her and not exposing himself. He kidnapped her in a moment of desperation... but he couldn't contain her. She escaped and would have gotten herself killed if he hadn't brought her back. Chaining her up was a mistake. It made him seem more hostile than he intended.
It was within Octavia's right to attack him and knock him unconscious. When he awoke he was surrounded by Skaikru. They tortured him and tried to get information, but none of that broke his own defenses. The only thing that broke through and gained Lincoln's trust was Octavia's kindness. It was Octavia he betrayed his people for. She was the reason he allied himself with the Skaikru and warned them of incoming attacks after Octavia refused to leave with him... Still, after everything he does wish that they ran when they could.
The mountain has always been a threat, but when they took Lincoln they did not bleed him like others in his village. Instead they turned him into a monster; a drug addicted reaper hungry for blood. If Octavia and Bellamy hadn't found him he surely would have never healed from his affliction, but with help from the Skaikru he was able to be turned back into a man-- thus forging an alliance between his people and the Skaikru that for a time seemed as though it was permanent. War never ceased though. Heda Lexa used the Sky People before betraying them at the last moment. Lincoln could not follow because the sky people had become his people. They gave his life back. He refused to retreat after the betrayal, but he was taken anyway. Indra gave him a knife and with that knife came a choice. He could cut the bindings that kept him with Trikru and fight for Octavia and her people, or stay. He chose Octavia and ultimately became a traitor.
It was then that Lincoln came across Cage; a notorious mountain man who forced the addition to the reaper inducing drug onto him. Cage tried to control him; to manipulate him, but Lincoln won the fight and dominated his own addiction in order to kill Cage. He's never spoken about that moment... It was a rare moment when Lincoln let his anger and thirst for vengeance take control. It was over, though... He was finally able to reunite with Octavia and return to Arkadia, where he was adopted as Skaikru. His traitor status was never officially lifted, though he found a home with Skaikru.
Since the election, the cultural clash has never been more prevalent. Pike has begun a war, of which Lincoln became a prisoner. His loyalty was strained and tested, but ultimately he chose to protect his people. The injured and desperate Trikru.
