.:Personality: Murphy is uptight and a strong person getting into fights quickly but does have a soft side to those he truly cares for. Proven when he goes to rescue Clarke and giving water to Mel and even choosing to not insulted Emori for her mutated arm. He even helps Raven when she is on her deathbed. Though he does have a temper and and will jump into fights without thinking first.

.:History: John Murphy was arrested for stealing but seeing as he wasn't 18 was not floated for his crimes. He was sent down with the rest of the 100 to see if Earth was suitable  to live on. His father was killed by Jaha for stealing medicine that wouldn't help him and not much time later his mother died but not before saying it was his fault for his dad being killed. John was one of Bellamy's matila helping him with his rule that was in till he was found out by Clarke of killing Wells and was almost hanged but later banished. That was when he was captured by the grounders and was infected with a fever and sent back to his people to infect them. Well there he got revenge on Connor and Myles who tried to kill him by returning the favor. John also tried hanging Bellamy and injured Raven. John was accused of killing more grounders when he was later again reunited with Finn after leaving camp and being caught by the grounders again. John left with Jaha to search for the city of light having enough.
