October 23, 2077. The day the world officially ended.
205 years ago, nuclear bombs rained all over the world as the Great War broke out. In the course of two hours, the world was decimated. Life was preserved inside of vaults all across the United States. However, most people were forced to live and adapt to the changing world outside of the vaults. 205 years later, humanity still persists in little pockets across the wasteland of the former world power. California and the west coast particularly have had much success in recivilizing the world.
Many powerful forces have risen up on the west coast, from the New California Republic to the Legion. In 2281, the NCR and the Legion had a battle over Hoover Dam. A mysterious figure known only as 'The Courier' single-handedly pushed back both forces, ousted the president of New Vegas, and made the city an independent beacon of hope for the whole Mojave. Anarchy reigned upon the streets of New Vegas and the Freeside before being extinguished by The Courier’s army of securitrons and a group known as the Kings. The NCR and the Legion were pushed back, but will they stay gone? What will happen to the casino families of the Strip?
The many characters of the Mojave must push to forge a new life. The NCR and Legion alike are recovering from their losses at Hoover Dam, the Strip is coping with newfound independence, and other factions are waiting to find their place in the new society the Courier has carved out for them. What will you do?
