Her plump lips, pale green eyes, and youthful face make her look younger than she is. However, once she applies her black war paint and adorns her commander armor, its clear she is a force to be reckoned with.

.:Personality:. Fierce, Strong, Merciful : There is an air about Lexa that demands respect. She is haughty and demanding, as is her right. Being called to lead at 15, she started out naive. However, a year later she united the 12 clans. She defended her people against the mountain men. She led her people in peace, even making an alliance with the sky people.
Cynical, Detached. War hardened Lexa. Finding Costia was the best thing that ever happened to her, and losing her was the worst. She never got close to anyone. She was kind to her people, but she was closed off. She refused to be weak again.
Leader, Visionary. Many of the Hedas before her lead short bloody lives. She refused to be remembered that way. Lexa's first year as Heda was bloody and violent, but she ended it. She united the clans, something ho Heda had done before. She lives for her people, doing whatever it takes to keep them safe. And she would die for them if that is what it took.
.:Special Skills:. Being the only child of a warrior, Lexa had a sword by the time she could walk. She was also introduced to bow hunting and hand to hand combat. By the time she turned nine she could best a man twice her size. It wasn't a surprise to anyone when she became a second.
Besides physical strength, she learned to be tactical, and to rely on her wits to outsmart an opponent. This took her the most time to learn. She was good at putting her heart into a fight, not thinking about her actions. She wouldn't fully accomplish this until later.| ~ • ~ | History | ~ • ~ |

.:History:. Lexa was born in Polis, the grounder capital. She began her warrior training when she was two, not unusual for those of her clan. Her passion was the sword. It was almost like a dance, an exciting game, when she held it in her hands. She fought, a lot, mainly with the boys. They thought they were stronger than her, and she proved them wrong. Several years into her training, she would be noticed by Anya. She was honored to become her second.
Three weeks before she called as Heda,she met a girl. Her name was Costia. Herr hair was as pale as snow, and her eyes the color of saphires sparkled like the stars. Lexa had never known such perfection, such joy. Lexa kissed her on the day she was chosen. Costia swore she always knew.
Lexa didn't even have her a year. Two weeks after the Ice Nation killed her parents, the Queen took her Costia away from her. She his away in her tent. She raged and screamed and crired. Every time she closed her eyes she saw Costia's severed head and her eyes that no longer shined. Weeks later, she would stare the Ice Queen in the eyes at the coalition. She vowed to never be weak again.
There was peace, it was fragile but still there. The Mountain Men and reapers were an ever present threat, though. But the answer fellfrom the sky. Lexa didn't long for another war, but after losing 300 warriors it seemed there was no choice. Until Clark walked into her tent. The young sky leader whose eyes shined almost like Costia's had. A girl that had sacrificed her lover for an alliance and was able to turn reapers back to men. A girl she kissed thrmn betrayed.
