.:Personality:. Jasper is vivacious and outgoing. He has the sort of temperament that's able to put others at ease and make them smile. He's quick to crack a joke and find the fun in any situation. That isn't to say he doesn't get scared and panic. He's good at keeping his cool in a crisis. But beforehand..He will be extremely anxious. He's a brave soul who is constantly willing to put himself in harm's way for others. He's been hurt and still continues to risk himself, knowing all too well that he isn't invincible. (Being impaled will teach you that lesson quickly.)

He is an extremely reliable person. If he says he'll do something, he will no matter the personal cost. And when people are trouble, he's one of the first to volunteer to help. He's resourceful, quickly devising plans when necessary. He'd prefer not to be the leader but is fine with taking charge when the situation calls for it.

.:History:. Jasper grew up in the Agro Station, often lovingly referred to as the "miracle baby" by his parents. Mira and Jake desperately wanted a child; but, struggled for a great long while before Jasper was conceived.  "Your mother could make anything grow accept a baby," he'd teased his son. Jasper got his jokes and fun loving personality from his father.  His mother was a bit more strict, slightly on the paranoid side.  She felt people got floated for even little offenses so she was always worried about breaking rules. 


Jasper and his dad often called Mira "a downer"; but, it wasn't as though his mom couldn't have fun.  Jasper was convinced that absolutely no one on the ark told better stories than her.  She had the most vivid imagination. And when she smiled, it was like the ark smiled with her. (Jasper and his dad did everything they could to get her to relax and smile more).  Mira thought both her husband and son were too laid back and could use a little more discipline and focus.  But Mira was excessively proud of her son's interest in chemistry.  Jasper wasn't a slacker; but, he wasn't exactly what anyone would call a work-o-holic either. But he was really dedicated when he cared/was interested.

Monty also grew up on Agro Station.  The two were thick as thieves since they were kids.  They could be something of trouble makers; but, they certainly had a lot of fun.  And they never caused too much havoc.  "Just the right amount of cataclysm," as Jasper liked to say.  Only one day things went wrong.  They'd stolen herbs from the ark garden (specifically from Monty's parents).  It was Jasper's job to return them.  Only he'd forgotten to do that.  As a result of his carelessness, him and Monty were locked up in the Sky Box. The two of them made the best of the situation. Not much could keep them down for long. And they figured when their case was reviewed when they turned 18, they'd be pardoned and released. (Their crime was not one of the more serious ones.)  Only things didn't quite work out that way. Before either one turned 18, they were sent to the ground as two of the 100.
