1978 will be the year that would forever change the wizarding and muggle world of London, and perhaps the world, forever. On the first of the new year the Minister had passed a law restricting the rights for muggleborns and halfbloods. Ever since then new laws has been passed slowly. 'Mysterious and unexplained deaths' are becoming more common in the muggle world and it has the muggles questioning what is really happening. The Minister of Magic had cut ties with the Muggle Prime Minister. An unfortunate act to say the least.
Hogwarts School had underwent a series of changes. In the student population at least. Two separate groups had been formed. One to protect the students and one to attack and strike fear. Unrest is about to slowly unravel as the pureblood students have been causing chaos. The one thing that is keeping them from declaring that the castle is theirs for the taking? Albus Dumbledore. Other students are banding together and defending themselves against the Dark Arts. They are doing whatever it takes to survive. They didn't think that their lives would be Blighted By War.
