.:Personality:. Callie is a strong and independant woman. She doesn't like to rely on a man, or anyone to get her where she wants to be. She is intelligent, and an academic, having skipped a grade when she was in school. She is well disciplined and works/has worked, extremely hard to get to where she is. In another world, she would be best suited to serve as a communications liason, as she is good with crowd control and addressing their concerns. She is diplomatic, well spoke, and repsonds to the crowds in a calm, and composed manner. She has a softer side that can easily come out with those she's comfortable with (i.e. Marcus, Cassandra, Abby, etc). Callie knows her place on the Ark and its ranking officials. She is on the council, and a respected figure from it -- sometimes even being referred to a voice of reason in certain situations.

.:History:. Callie was born into a modest family and had a comfortable upbringing. She was among the privileged, and instilled with values that strongly emphasized and prioritized academics. Because of that, she spent most of her childhood and youth studying, and was well discplined because of it. It even allowed her to skip a grade, making her the youngest among her classmates. Her friends growing up were fairly limited as she was driven and ambitious. It eventually paid off when she was accepted into the Cadets, allowing her to train physically rather than just intellectually. It was initially a challenge for her, but she detestes failure -- to a fault. She worked hard and casually moved her way up the ranks in this position. As a well spoken individual, she became a member of the council, realized to be quite effective as a representative for them when dealing with a crisis or something that requires crowd control. She is not as high ranking as certain others, but she is respected as any counciler would be.

In terms of her personal life, Callie has not had a great deal of romantic partners. One particular man that she formed a strong bond with caused them to eventually move in together. She felt that marriage was too stifling for her and her career, not needing a husband to feel fulfilled or adequate. It was not too long after that she discovered she was pregnant, and was highly concerned as to what this could mean for her career. Her husband was initially supportive of the idea, but between her career and the exhaustion of pregnancy, their marriage started to take a strain. She eventually moved out, not wanting the responsibility of being a father. He was later floated for breaking the law, and this is something that Callie seldom ever speaks of.

It was becoming a mother that had softened Callie's emotions. She went from a young, seemingly cold and overly ambitious woman, to one who expressed more emotion and a softer understanding. She raised Cassandra on her own. She was a strong enforcer of discipline, which in turn caused her daughter to rebel at times. Despite that, the two maintain a close relationship despite their seperation when Cassandra was arrested and sent to the ground as one of the 100. Romantically, the only other individual that Callie has expressed serious commitment to, is Marcus Kane. He became the first relationship she had allowed herself to be in following Cassandra's father. In terms of friends, Callie considers Abby to be her best friend. This bond arose as they are two strong women in the council and are in respected fields on the Ark. Because of that, Callie naturally gravitated toward her and the two bonded allowing them to become quite close friends.

Callie survived the Ark's landing to the ground, and followed the orders initially from Chancellor Kane, which then shifted tO Chancellor Griffin. She is loyal to both of them, as she cares for them both in very different ways, however feels torn at times as who to follow.
