.:Personality:. Licoln is surprisingly empathetic and curious for a grounder. He cares not only about his own people but those who fell from the sky. He's very concerned about what is right. He is constantly questioning the decisions of his former clansmen. He was someone who never wanted to be a warrior as much as the grounders valued strength and violence. He's someone who is comfortable on his own and so was often sent ahead for scouting missions. He prefers some privacy and space. He's typically taciturn; but, people he truly cares about like Octavia can get him to open up more.
He is clever and resourceful, one able to survive by his own wits. Lincoln can analyze many situations quickly to determine the most practical course of action. Although typically logical in terms of making the hard calls, he can be swayed by the passions of those near and dear to his heart (like Octavia). He's not the sort to sacrifice himself for just anyone, in general having good self preservation instincts. However there are those precious few he would gladly die for (like Octavia). He has a knack for languages and teaching them. He's also quite the skilled artist. .:Special Skills:. knowledge of poisons and antidotes, basic wound treatment, tracking, hunting, moving silently, withstanding torture

.:Birthplace:. Earth .:Family:. Left his clan so is as good as on his own .:Occupation:. Scout/Warrior .:History:. Lincoln was always a curious sort. Ever since he was a child he was constantly questioning the ways of the Woods Clan. Why did they do that? Was it necessary? Was there a way to improve? Such questions were acceptable when he was little; but, he was expected to outgrow them as he aged. Only he never did. He was reprimanded time and time again for not knowing his place; but, still he persisted.
When he was still a boy a ship fell from the sky. Curious as ever, having never seen something so unusual in his entire existence, he took a look inside and found a badly injured man. As he couldn't speak English, he couldn't ask the man what was wrong or how he could help. He at least understood that people needed food and water to live. Fearful that the man was so hurt he couldn't provide for himself, Lincoln brought the man food and water for three days. He kept his presence hidden since he knew his people didn't like strangers. Lincoln didn't want this person to be hurt worse. But after three days, he was concerned that this man might need a healer to recover. He took a risk and trusted his father with his news. His choice cost the man his life. Lincoln's own father forced him to kill the man he'd been trying to help. Lincoln never forgave himself and never forgot the terrible thing he'd done.
The day where he made his first kill, changed him. That day taught him the danger of questions. His clan feared anyone different, anyone who wanted anything different. His curiosity remained. But his questions and observations were kept to himself. He took on a much more grim appearance and said little. His main companion became a notebook where he could record his thoughts and the beauty of the world in private. (Although it was extremely important to keep it hidden.)
When he was much older, another ship fell from the sky. Rather than report this occurrence, he watched the people in private, recording his observations in his notebook. One woman in particular caught his eye, Octavia. There was a strength and yet a tenderness in her eyes he admired. He enjoyed sketching her.
One day Octavia wandered away from her camp and badly injured herself. Instead of ending her life, Lincoln tended to her wounds and cared for her. He even went so far as protecting her from his own people, carrying her when she was too weak to run. (He also blowed the horn warning of acid fog when none was coming to keep his people away.) Lincoln's compassion lead to him being captured by the sky people.
As the sky people tortured him, he pretended he could not speak a word of English. However, he did point to the anecdote to save Octavia after she cut herself and injected the same poison Finn had into her system. He just couldn't let her die. Later Octavia helped him escape; but, being branded a traitor, returning to his own people was out of the question. After a series of complicated events, he got captured by the mountain people. They turned him into a reaper with strange drugs. Abby was eventually able to help Lincoln, revert him back to himself. Whatever challenges come, he will face them with Octavia. There is nothing he would not do for her.
