Jasper is a taller, and skinny male, with a lanky appearance, and a generally pale complexion. Just coming into his body, Jasper has the appearance of a clumsy "string bean" of a teenager, which, of course, is about the most accurate way to explain him in a nutshell. With a shaggy mop of black hair rarely kept neat, and often topped by an oversized pair of goggles, when they are not hanging from the front of his neck, Jasper has the look of the general "dork", if one were forced to place him in a generalization. Generally smiling, Jasper has a look about him that can, for the most part, appear relaxed, or more generally speaking, as if he hasn't a care in the world. However, when he is serious, or passionate about something, or someone, that becomes a very physical thing, changing his features, his stance, and even the way he carries himself. Carrying his emotions on his sleeve is something he suffers from, finding it very difficult at times to hide them from his face.

.:Personality:. Jasper is an outgoing, adventurous, boy who speaks his mind. He is trustworthy and reliable. He can also be headstrong and goes into situations rashly. Often it is very hard for him to stop and think things through when his emotions are involved, leading to some harsh and sudden decisions that do not always make sense to others around him. Fiercely loyal, once Jasper has made a friend, he would lay his life down for them, and would, and has, run head long into the mouth of danger if they need help, even if the outcome isn't completely promising. He is also somewhat clumsy, and can be more of a fumbling mess when it comes to the opposite sex. When times are calm, Jasper is more of a laid back sort of guy, looking for reasons to party and enjoy himself. On the side of all of this, Jasper battles PTSD, something he's learning to deal with, a side effect from being speared in the chest and strung up to a tree on his original arrival to Earth.

Jasper was born to a pair of chemists, whom brought a child into life on the ark after a lengthy contemplation on whether or not it would be a potentially bad decision to make. As soon as he was born, however, he became the center of his parents attention...well, aside from their work. Jasper's father tended to be an erratic sort, taken with flights of fancy due to his over active imagination, and ability to act that imagination out. Obsessed with inventing new things, and finding ways to recreate what was used on earth, his father often spent his days tinkering with his various toys, which were more of a deccoration around their quarters.

This never excluded Jasper, however, and, instead, they fostered his healthy sense of wonder and wealth of questions when it came to how things worked, why they worked, and how else they might do what they did. Jasper's one and main friend was Monty. Not for lack of an attempt to be more outgoing and get to know other people his age, but because him and Monty simply fell in together, and stuck so well. Partners in crime, they originally found out the joy of "herbs" together, and began pilfering them from Monty's parents.

However, Jasper forgot to replace the plants one day, and it lead to the two of them being first caught, than drug off to Juvenile lockup for the crime. Jasper's parents attempted to hide him when the ark officials came for him, however when they threatened to arrest his father, he threw himself out of the space in the wall he had been hiding and gave himself up.

Jasper was sent to Earth with the 100.
