YOU'RE MISTAKEN HONEY i'm in charge here
Hunting. That one sentence summed up Christian's favorite thing to do. Besides crafting bows, and arrows, and weapons, hunting was her favorite hobby. She had a natural talent for it, too. She could just lose control, and let the bow and arrow take control. Chris was in charge when it came to hunting, but what with the new threat of the Grounders, Chrissa had been told by many to take a hunting partner, that of which Christian Martinez was reluctant to do. And it pissed her off. So she was stuck with going with a partner, who no doubt would possibly mess up her concentration.
So, Christian woke up the next morning and shivered at how cold it was. She had walked out of her tent and stood up on a log, putting two fingers in her mouth and whistling loudly. "I'm not gonna wait around all day for someone to go hunting with me. Whoever wants to do it, follow me, just don't get in my way or I'll gank your ass." Christian said with the sassy personality that practically made her who she was. Without waiting for a reply, Christian picked up her bow and a collection of arrows and started on her way out of the camp, through the trees and towards the nearest source of running water. She then crouched down a good five minutes later and surveyed the grass. Dewey, wet, cold. "Some deer are going to be grazing today. If we're lucky enough, we might catch them." Christian said. Then she stood back up, and turned around to see who had come with her. She smirked at who she saw. "Oh. It's you." | HEHE. I ECITED. |

Tag: @christian whatever THE HELL WE WANT It was time to hunt. Their food supply was low so Bellamy had announced that they were arranging a hunting party that would meet at the gate. He was informing them not to use the guns for hunting to save the ammo. Bullets were reserved for the Grounders. The bladed weapons were for the animals -- hence the reason he was equipped with his spear, axe and dagger. They were all to be back before dark and not to be separated from their partner or group. The crowd began to pair off or form groups of three while one of them spoke impatiently about going. Bellamy rolled his eyes as she headed off, figuring he better go with her before something happened. He was older than the other delinquents and sometimes, he got a rather evident reminder of their recklessness. Like right now.
As he neared her, she was saying something about the deer, not yet looking to see who had become her hunting partner by default. He just stood there silently until she turned around and pointed out that it was him. "Yeah I came to make sure you didn't get yourself killed." His voice was blunt as it always was. He knew the delinquent's name but she wasn't one that he had overly conversed with. "Next time think twice before you do something stupid like run out in the woods by yourself." He was protective over every single one of the 100, and his tough love approach was not something he would soften. "There's tracks around this area. We'll wait a bit to see if the they come back." Considering there was water here. Though he assumed she had already figured that out.

"Yeah I came to make sure you didn't get yourself killed." He had said. At that, Chris let out a laugh. "Puh-lease, Bellamy Blake. Me? Killed? We both know that I'm one of the best damned hunters that we've got at this camp." Christian said sassily. "Listen up, Blake. I'm kinda glad that I got you as a partner, hell knows I could have gotten a lot worse, like that douche Murphy, but I know that you like to be in charge, but I don't particularly like being bossed around. Just a little heads up, 'cause I might just blow my top." Chrissa said with a flirtatious wink, then turning on her heel and strutting off towards the sound of the waterfall.
"Next time think twice before you do something stupid like run out in the woods by yourself." Bellamy had said. Christian carried on her way. "Whatever the hell we want, right?" Christian asked rhetorically with a smirk visible on her face. "There's tracks around this area. We'll wait a bit to see if the they come back." Bellamy had then said, stating the obvious. Christian rolled her eyes. "Duh. And the name's Christian, by the way. Christian Martinez, just in case you were wondering." Chrissa remarked sassily. After several minutes of walking, the two came upon the waterfall, and Christian grinned at seeing it. There was a couple of deer grazing on the dewey grass, and some sipping from the lake that the waterfall transitioned into. "Perfect." Chrissa whispered softly.
She quietly took out her now and an arrow, then signaling for Bellamy to shut up and stay quiet. Christian positioned the arrow carefully and pulled the bowstring back, lining it up with the deer's head. She went for the one that was grazing on the grass, and then Chrissa released, the arrow flying towards the deer and lodging itself in the head, killing the deer instantly. That scared the shit out of all the other deer in that area, so as they ran, Christian shot at another one and killed that too. "Yes! Mama's bringing home the meat!" Chris exclaimed. She took off her shoes so that they wouldn't get ruined by the water and grabbed both of the deer by the excess skin on their necks. "Boom bitch." Chrissa said.

Tag: @christian Notes: thiiiis is what happens when you provoke Bell! whatever THE HELL WE WANT One of the best damn hunters? No. Bellamy disagreed emphatically. Hunting wasn't just about killing. It was about strategy. Being technical. For anyone to just run out into the woods as she had done revealed they were ready to show off. It wasn't someone who could be trusted with a partner, which was precisely why Bellamy had been the one to go after her. He wouldn't trust her with anyone.
"Don't presume to know what I think," he told her bluntly. "Cause based on your recklessness, I don't think you are." Had she shown more control of herself, the willingness to listen, to form a team or at least a partnership . . . well, it would have been different. But she was far too reckless about it. That, did not equate a good hunter to him. Not at all. She then went on to say that she had rather have him as a partner than Murphy. Interesting name to bring up considering the circumstances and current unknown whereabouts of Murphy.
"Considering Murphy's been banished, don't even know how it's possible for you to have him as a partner." Really, this hadn't been by choice. It was by default. It was her next words that really cauesd him to pause as she claimed she didn't like to be bossed around. Blow her top? Bellamy had seriously lashed out at people for less . . . but right now, he was controlled. He took a step toward her, a tone of seriousness thick in his voice. "If you have that attitude, then you're welcome to leave camp." Before he kicked her the hell out if she was going to be this defiant. "You don't like our rules, leave. Simple as that. No one is forcing you to stay. Go off and fend for yourself. Find Murphy while you're at it." Wherever he was. If he was even still alive. His words were sarcastic but with truth.
He and Clarke were helping keep these delinquents alive, and this one -- Christian -- seemed to be a rather ungrateful one. Bellamy didn't have the time or energy for Arkers like that. It was too immature for his liking and preference. "If you wanna stay, then check yourself and fix it. I don't have time for your bull shit." A damn diva. He had bigger concerns to deal with. She then threw 'whatever the hell we want', words that he had said . . . but words that Clarke had formally announced to everyone were out the window, and Bellamy had agreed.
"That stopped a while ago," he bluntly stated. "And if you didn't realize that, then you should be paying better attention." She told her name but Bellamy was only half listening. They were nearing up their prey. Deer. But Bellamy had a better idea in mind. He went off to the other side, able to hear the rustling in the leaves. While she was preoccupied with a deer, he managed to catch site of a panther who was preparing to pounce on said deer.
Bellamy moved quietly, cautiously . . . and soon enough, he threw the spear right into the panther's throat, killing the animal instantly. He could hear Christian boasting about her kill, causing him to suppress an eye roll for Bellamy was not one who needed to boast or validate his skills. He didn't do this to brag about his capabilities. He did this to feed and take care of the delinquents. Approaching the large, deceased animal, he pulled the spear out from its neck. This would feed them for a while, making this hunting trip a true success.

Christian just rolled her eyes at all that Bellamy had said and nodded. "Yes sir." Chrissa muttered sarcastically. Then she sighed. She didn't want to be kicked out of camp, or be banished, like Murphy was. "Okay, okay. Sorry. I'll try and do better." Christian stated truthfully. Once she had dragged the carcasses of the dead deer back to where Bellamy was, she bit a small corner of her top lip at seeing what he had killed, but remained silent. She opened her mouth to say something, but quickly closed it. "Nice catch. This'll feed us for awhi-" She stopped mid sentence to listen.
Wind was swirling and on the ground, what seemed like hundreds of thousands of bugs ran past and around her and Bellamy's feet. "Wha-?" Chrissa asked herself. She looked up at the sky and saw it turning a yellowish-mustard green color. "Is that... oh no.." Chris muttered. She grabbed Bellamy's hand and ran in the other direction of the fog. "Come on!" She exclaimed in panic. Sure. Christian was a bitch. But she wasn't heartless. She may have wanted to get to safety, but she sure as hell wasn't going to leave Bellamy behind.

Tag: @christian Note: I slightly godmodded them to get inside the cave! Let me know if you'd like me to edit =) whatever THE HELL WE WANT She seemed to sober a bit, but her attitude was still something that Bellamy would continue to be wary of. Defiance was not an option in this camp. He and Clarke had to make sure of that. The last person who had tried to be defiant, it had cost the life of a young girl. The conversation was set to a pause when there was a shift in the environment. He knew what was coming. But before he could do anything, she grabbed his hand and took off. He didn't have time to take out the sheet from his pack that would allow them the necessary coverage, and he couldn't exactly just leave her to run on her own. Whatever intensity their former conversation held, he was not going to fail in protecting the other delinquents, no matter the cost.
He had silently promised that when he returned from his day trip with Clarke. The next thought that entered his mind was the loss of food after a very successful hunt . . . but their lives were more important right now. "There!" He exclaimed when he saw a small cave in the near distance. He pulled his hand fromn hers and ushered her forward to go in front of him and get inside. If there was anything in there, well, they would deal with that when the threat arose. Right now, the more daunting and looming threat was the fog. Once they were inside, he quickly pulled out the tent sheet from his pack and began to put it in front of the cave opening, tucking in the edges between the rocks so that it would be held up. This would prevent any from seeping in. "Check how deep the cave is," he instructed her. It was too dark to see the end of it, and he wanted to make sure that this was not the lair of an animal or a resting Grounder who was also seeking shelter.
