.:Physical Appearance:. Gabriella is an above below height with a slender build. She has flowing dark brown hair which curls wildly during high humidity and isn’t really tame any other time either. She has grey eyes and a pale complexion. Usually, she wears boy clothes, both down on the ground and up in the Ark. She always wears her hair up in a ponytail so it keeps it out of the way.

.:Personality:. Gabriella is a very confident girl who cares deeply for all those she is close to. She is generally very friendly, but she’s also very rough and playful which could intimidate some people. Because of her upbringing, she’s very adventurous which often leads her to do things and visit places she might later regret. She isn’t afraid to stand up to people and speak her mind, even if it gets her into trouble; although she isn’t unintelligent and she is aware that sometimes it would be wise not to say anything.
Having been raised by her dad, she never really fit in with other girls her age and she never saw the appeal of dresses and dolls, she much rather preferred to use her talents through engineering and chemistry. She is hard-working and once she puts her mind towards something, it is hard to convince her to do otherwise.

.:History:. Before Gabriella was born she had a legacy to fill. Her brother Percy had been floated for murder the year before her birth; he had just turned eighteen and so was eligible for execution. When she was born, everything was normal, for a while; as far as everyone cared, she was and had always been the only child of Ruben and Astrid Slater. But there were some people who knew, who remembered what her brother had done and she was prejudiced for it.
As far as she knew, Gabriella was born to replace the son her parents had lost and she was raised like one too. She was never given girls’ clothes or toys and she wasn’t allowed to play with other girls her age. Because of this, she began to excel in the industry her father specialised in, engineering- but she also took a special interest in chemistry and became quite gifted at both subjects.
Her mother was floated shortly after Gabriella was born, leaving her to be brought up by her father. She lived closely by her father’s side and idolised him. When she was twelve years old, she assaulted a girl her age who mocked her for her brother being a murderer. Gabriella was sent to Juvenile Lockup and was there for three years before she was sent down to the Earth with the other Delinquents.
