.:Personality:. Harper is fearless - or at least that's what she'd want you do think. She's one of those girls who needs a purpose, and when she finds it, dedicates herself to it. She hated the black and white logic of life on the Ark, and relishes the power to choose her own side. She was never meant for the factory life she was raised in, and likes being outdoors, getting her hands dirty. A fear of fitting in growing up has made her seem carefree and a bit of a flirt, wanting to be liked and accepted.

.:History:. Erik and Jovoli McIntyre had Harper when they were older than most couples, though its unclear why. Jovoli was 40, and the birth ended up killing her. Harper was left to be raised by her father, a respected lead in Factory Station. Growing up, Harper constantly got into trouble. Her father had little time to watch her, and she was often known to sneak out of classes and go to parts of the ship she wasn't supposed to. Her friends constantly changed, and she couldn't seem to find a place to fit.

When she was 16, she ditched a Earth Skills class with her then best friend, Marika. They were set up meet up with a pair of boys Marika's age, with the plan to get high and mess around in Farming Station. When they were found by the guard, Marika and one of the boys were able evade capture, but Harper and the other boy were caught. The boy who was caught - Delphi - was 19, and had already been arrested when he was underage for suspected dealing. He was floated, and Harper was sent to Lockup. She never knew if Marika or the other boy were found, as both were over 18.

When The 100 were sent to the ground, Harper seemed to finally find her place. She liked the idea behind Bellamy's Militia - finally, she could do whatever the hell she wanted. While she hadn't known much about fighting aside from the few brawls she'd gotten into before they were sent to the ground, she took to being a guard quickly.
