For the most part, Bryan had been mostly avoiding their scout, the woman who was maybe his height, but seemed taller with her wild auburn hair. He'd consulted with her when he needed to, but he hadn't spoken to her on their first night like he had the other Arkers he didn't know as well as Nate. He didn't need her to like him, and he didn't need to like her. As long as she didn't become a problem for his people, he was fine keeping her at arms length.
A few nights into their journey, Luna said she was going to try to go hunt for some food, and as much as Bryan wanted something other than their dried rations of the roots and things Thalia had been finding, he also wasn't sure he trusted Luna to just go off on her own. What if she was communicating with other Grounders, or decided to poison whatever food she brought back? "I'll come with," he said, not looking at her as he glanced around the camp to make sure everyone else was safe, busied with setting up camp and building a fire for the night.
He glanced at her briefly as they headed out, but didn't really have anything to say. He didn't really know how to hunt--it had never been his job--but really he was coming to keep an eye on their Grounder. He did know he needed to keep as quiet as possible, though, so as not to scare potential prey away. So he had an excuse for not talking anyway.Tag: Luna

Kom woda ‘so gyon op, gon woda ‘so kom daun from water we are born, to water we return L una was no fool. She could feel the tension between her and their leader. But nor did she do anything to discourage it. There was not much that could be done. She was here for the greater good. Because she would rather support a cause that brought the others to unite, rather than tear them apart through war and animosity. There was lacking trust and while Luna held no knowledge as to why, the fact of the matter was that they were now forced to collaboratively work together. To save everyone.
After a few nights of the journey one day came where she had offered to hunt for them. She didn't need anyone to go with her, but the leader said he would. She did not wait for him. She just brought her make shift spear, a dagger that she kept with her that had belonged to Derrick and she was off. Making her way through the woods, with the other man's presence nearby. Silence filled the air, though Luna did not find it uncomfortable. She could not speak for the other man though. "What is it you think I will do?" She asked him softly, not looking at him. She assumed his reasons for coming certainly didn't have to do with wishing her safety and offering protection. It was due to suspicion. It was the only logical reason, especially considering the air between them.

Bryan mostly followed quietly behind Luna, his gun not drawn, but not wanting his back to her as much as he could help it when they were alone. She seemed indifferent to him, which he wasn't quite sure how to take, but he supposed it was better than hostility. He knew his own demeanor wasn't exactly warm toward her, but he was remaining civil himself. Maybe that was they best they could hope for.
He did scan the ground and the horizon for anything moving that might be edible, but he was distracted briefly when she spoke. He glanced over at her, looking at the back of her head for a moment before looking away again. He could probably be sacrastic if he wanted to, but that wouldn't get them anywhere. "I'm not sure," he answered, his tone calm. "I'm never sure what to expect from your people," he added, biting his tongue that it was rarely a pleasant surprise when they acted. He knew some about Lincoln, but Lincoln seemed to be an outlier among Grounders. He also knew Grounders had helped them fight off the chipped people in Polis. But he didn't expect Grounders to change their ways because of what happened. For all he knew, they might work together to find a safe place, and the Grounders could turn on them once they found it and try to keep it for themselves.Tag: Luna
