Tag: @severitysoftly whatever THE HELL WE WANT Bellamy never in his life, had thought he would be having a bachelor party. Getting married was one thing -- one absolutely wonderful thing -- but having this massive celebration was an entirely different one. Wick had wanted to throw them a bachelor party, and just like their acceptance of all other things when it came to this occasion, neither he nor Jackson protested. In fact, they were currently making their way to the dropship, being told a time that Bellamy assumed was different than most others so that by the time they got there . . . everyone else would be waiting.
What exactly was going to be happening at this bachelor party . . . Bellamy hadn't the faintest idea. The dropship held a great deal of memories, being a home they had built for the weeks they were on the ground. A grave sight nearby for the delinquents who had died. And now . . . a new memory would be formed there. A happy one. With his husbeand. With his hand in Jackson's, they started the walk to the dropship.
Bellamy refused to leave Arkadia without at least one weapon, so had a gun slung around his shoulder . . . just in case. He had no idea what feelings were coursing through him . . . but among them all, was anticipation for marrying Jackson. Something that would be happening very soon. Giving Jackson's hand a gentle squeeze, Bellamy turned to look at him. "I don't know whether to be excited or scared for what we're about to walk in to," Bellamy joked . . . though his words not entirely untrue.

Jackson had never been to the site of the dropship, and... he wasn't entirely sure how to feel about it. He knew how much hardship, pain, and loss had happened there for the hundred kids (plus one Bellamy Blake) that had been sent down to Earth as guinea pigs. He'd been part of the team that had sent them down, and while he'd long since justified that to himself, it felt strange to be celebrating something like his future wedding there. Then again, maybe the kids felt like it was time to reclaim the site, in a sense, to reclaim the sense of joy they'd had around the site on the day they landed, the joy Jackson had witnessed only by their vital signs spiking in all the right ways.
As long as everyone attending was okay with the location, though, so was Jackson. All that really mattered was the man by his side, his soon to be husbeand. Nothing would ruin this night for them, or the ones to come as they legalized their union. With Bellamy's hand in his, nothing could go wrong. Or at the very least, it felt that way.
Jackson chuckled as Bellamy made his remark, squeezing Bellamy's hand back. "From the little I know of Wick, probably both?" Jackson said, grinning over at Bellamy. He tugged Bellamy toward him for a quick kiss as they started walking. "Did you ever think we'd be this happy?"Tag: Bellamy Blake

Tag: @severitysoftly Note: 3700th post!!! whatever THE HELL WE WANT Bellamy smiled, a slight chuckle falling from his lips when Jackson responded to his comment about Wick. "Then you know him well enough," he said, teasingly toward his friend. Wick had been one of Bellamy's very few, long lasting friends on the Ark. He'd known the man since he was a boy. Friends weren't something that Bellamy had an abundance of, so he valued them where they existed. Everything came to a halt however when Jackson moved toward him for a quick kiss.
It was too fast but he also knew that if they started that . . . they would never get to their destination. Jackson's question that followed brought back a smile to Bellamy's lips. Not that it had ever left his face. "No," he answered truthfully. "Never." Never did he think he would fall in love this much. Never did he think that he would be living with his partner. Never did he think that he would be marrying the person that he loved. It all jsut felt so . . . incredible. Words were inadequate in their attempt to vocalize his emotions. "You make me more happy than I ever thought possible," he told him sincerely, his gaze reflecting the tone of his words.

Jackson could never get enough of the sound of Bellamy's laugh. It had taken a long damn time before he'd ever heard it, and even still it wasn't common. Jackson usually only heard it when they were alone, and he cherished it every time. He wanted to spend the rest of his life making Bellamy laugh.
When Bellamy answered his question, though, Jackson's heart almost ached with happiness. "It's mutual," he assured Bellamy, his own expression mirroring Bellamy's. He couldn't mean those words more. Bellamy made him happier than he thought possible as well, by natural means, anyway. "I still haven't seen a copy of Leaves of Grass," he said. They'd talked about what felt like ages ago, shortly after they'd become a couple, but recent events made him want to read it again. He wanted to read it to Bellamy. But he remembered a verse that seemed to apply now. "'I celebrate myself, and sing myself. And what I assume, you shall assume. For every atom belonging to me as good belongs to you.'" It seemed fitting. He wanted to share everything good with Bellamy now, for the rest of their lives.Tag: Bellamy Blake

Bellamy listened to Jackson recite one of the pieces of literature that he recalled him liking. The poetry of the words, the rhythm of them. Bellamy just watched Jackson, entranced by the way he spoke them. Mesmerized, but the tone he used, and the beauty of the words. Especially considering the only thing more beautiful, was the man who said them. The meaning of them not lost onto the younger male, but that just added to the perfection of hearing them. He realized that he had just been staring at Jackson a little while after he finished speaking them, snapping out of whatever trance his soon to be husbeand had placed him under with the poetic words. A smile replaced that soft intent on his face, though he figured that it still might be there. "Keep talking like that, and we may not even make it to the dropship," he warned, only partially kidding.
"Cause I want to hear more of it." In private. He could hear Jackson recite anything, his voice a constant soothing source;a comfort. Just as his touch was. The man's presence was the only thing that held the power to soothe and ease the suffering that Bellamy had felt inflicted with his entire life. Jackson epitomized his happiness. "Beautiful," he added on, hoping he knew by his words and gaze, that Bellamy wasn't just talking about the words. Raising Jackson's hand he kissed the back of it, as they continued on, wishing he could somehow find the book for Jackson. If only to give his fiance something that he desired.

Jackson couldn't help but chuckle at Bellamy's response to the short verse he quoted, though he felt delighted that Bellamy liked it. He already knew Bellamy liked classical literature, but he didn't know exactly how Bellamy felt about poetry. Jackson wasn't even a poetry lover, per se, but he liked what he liked. "That wasn't even one of the sexy verses," he joked, squeezing Bellamy's hand a little. There was one verse that Jackson had always loved that was so much more intimate. Maybe he'd say that verse to Bellamy when they were alone. He wished he could remember more.
"I'd love to read it to you," he admitted. He knew once they went back to their normal lives, once the wedding festivities were over, there wouldn't be a ton of time for them to just read to each other, but it was tempting. "And I'd love you to read me something you love," he added. He had a vague memory of Bellamy telling him a story, something from a book, he thought, when he'd been sick with radiation poisoning, but he remembered very little of it. Part of him wondered if he'd dreamed it, actually, but he didn't dare ever bring up what had happened those few days again.Tag: Bellamy Blake

Tag: @severitysoftly whatever THE HELL WE WANT Bellamy slightly raised an eyebrow when Jackson commented about how it wasn't even one of the sexy verses. "It's not?" He questioned, intrigue in his gaze. "I'd tell you to read me one now but, like I said, I don't think we'll make it to the dropship if you do." Even though Bellamy was almost ok with that. He wasn't used to this all this . . . celebratory attention. With how private he and Jackson had been about their relationship, this was certainly an adjustment. "Just, save it later for tonight." Because he wanted to hear more. "Woo me with it," he added on jokingly, the tease of Jackson seducing Bellamy with such verses. But hearing that he would love to read it to him made Bellamy smile.
"Good. Because I wouldn't want to hear it any other way." Reading it on his own wouldn't be as remotely as wonderful as hearing his soon to be husbeand read it to him, or recite it as he did now. He then expressed his desire to hear something that Bellamy loved. He knew which book, or series of books, that would be. He'd once recited a story from it, specific quotes of a passage, when Jackson had been . . . unwell, after the blood transfusion. But he had been a bit delerious at the time. "Might put you to sleep," Bellamy said, only half kidding. "And I'd prefer to do something that has the opposite effect," he commented with a playful smirk on his face.

Jackson couldn't help but laugh when Bellamy said they wouldn't make it to the dropship, if he started quoting the sexy verses. The idea of pressing Bellamy up against a tree and fooling around a little was definitely enticing, though, if the thought of getting caught by one of the kids throwing the party wasn't actually a possibility. "I thought I was done wooing you," he teased. "You're marrying me, I get to relax now," he added, grinning.
He tugged Bellamy close for a kiss. It was ridiculous how happy he felt, and he was forever thankful that nothing had happened since they'd become engaged to ruin their happiness. No attacks, not missions, nothing. It was like the universe decided to give them a break for this happy occasion. "You could never put me to sleep," he said, though that was actually probably untrue. Just not in the way Bellamy meant it, that he would put Jackson too sleep out of boredom. If anything, Jackson might fall asleep because the sound of Bellamy's voice was soothing to him. Tag: @severitysoftly whatever THE HELL WE WANT Bellamy gave a look of playful disbelief at the idea of Jackson being done wooing him; now able to relax. "Relax?" He repeated teasingly. "Just cause we're getting married, doesn't mean I don't expect to be woo'ed," Bellamy said jokingly, playing along with the idea of it. Truth be told, he didn't expect any such thing. Jackson had won him over completely a long time ago . . . and all he had needed to do was be himself. The beauty of that very thing was more than Bellamy could have ever hoped for.
"And it definitely doesn't mean you get to relax. We'll have a lot of celebrating to you," he said with clear suggestion in his voice. The kiss that followed was the perfect way to solidify his statement, his hands skimming up the back of his head, fingers running through his locks, uncaring of whether he was messing up his hair. "Good," he breathed against his lips, leaning in for another kiss. "Cause I wouldn't be a very good fiancé or husbeand if I did," he said with a chuckle, realizing that he had stopped walking, just enjoying the few stolen moments before going to the dropship. "Cause for the record, I won't stop wooing you either," he continued to tease, forcing himself to start moving again, his hand returning to hold Jackson's.

Jackson made a pleased noise into the kiss, the sound confirming that he was very interested in the bellebrating Bellamy said they needed to do, the tone of his voice obvious. Bellamy's fingers in his hair making it harder for Jackson not to just push him against a tree like he'd previously considered. He wrapped his arms around Bellamy as they stopped, kissing Bellamy again, and then chuckling as he finished. "Did you ever start?" he teased, referencing how Jackson had been the one to push for a relationship. But he knew Bellamy had wooed him, in a lot of ways. It took a lot of effort for Bellamy to open up to begin with, and that was huge, and the effort had only made Jackson want Bellamy more. Since then, Bellamy never stopped making Jackson feel wanted. Their first date under the stars, with the picnic Bellamy had planned out, so many little things... he felt like Bellamy was better at romance than he was any day.
He kissed Bellamy again quickly before Bellamy pulled back. "I love you," he murmured against Bellamy's lips. "Should we add a vow to never stop wooing each other to our ceremony?" he added, grinning as Bellamy got them walking again.Tag: Bellamy Blake

Tag: @severitysoftly whatever THE HELL WE WANT Bellamy gave Jackson a teasing look at his playful accusation of whether he even started wooing Jackson. Bellamy was fully aware that he was not an easy man to be with. And he would spend every breath of every day, making sure that he never took Jackson for granted. "I took you out on our first date, didn't I?" He playfully reminded. That, and Bellamy had a few more things planned. Including the surprise of a honeymoon for just the two of them. But that would be revealed after their wedding, in the days to follow. Bellamy moaned into the kiss, unable to get enough of the incredible sensation.
Just as his heart never failed to swell with emotion at Jackson's words of love. "I love you too," he returned, enjoying the kiss for a few more moments before it reached its inevitable end and they continued on their path to the dropship. He chuckled a little at Jackson's next question. "I like the sound of that," he said with a smile. "In sickness and in health, I hereby vow to never stop wooing you," Bellamy stated jokingly . . . though, he meant it in his heart. The thought of never ceasing to woo Jackson, going deeper than that. Aligning with his previous promise to never take Jackson for granted. Wooing him easily fell into this category.
