It was starting to feel like it had been too long since Pike and Hannah had left. Bryan hated that he wasn't out there with them, but he understood why Pike had asked him to stay behind. He trusted Bryan to keep the rest of Farm Station safe in his and Hannah's absences. Still, Bryan was considering assembling a team of some of the stronger fighters from Farm, leaving a few behind of course, and going to look for Pike and Hannah. If they had wound up in danger, Bryan couldn't stand by.
Dressed in heavy Azgeda warrior clothing as a disguise, Bryan scanned the perimeter of their camp. It was dark, but he was pretty sure he saw movement. After a moment, a rather large vehicle like nothing Bryan had ever seen came into the icy clearing. That wasn't Grounders. Grounders didn't use equipment like vehicles. Bryan tried not to hope too much that it was Pike and Hannah. Whoever was approaching could just as easily been hostile. Bryan called a few other fighters over to him, just in case, but he stayed hidden where he was.
The vehicle eventually came to a stop, and Bryan could see the silhouettes of people emerging from it, and the outlines of weapons in their hands. Guns. "Hold your fire," he breathed to the people around him, squinting at the figures until he recognized the uniform a couple of of their uninvited guests were wearing. Guard uniforms from the Ark. "They're from the Ark," he said, in a little less of a hushed tone. Sure, they could be wearing Ark uniforms the same way Bryan was dressed as Azgeda, but it would would only put a target on their backs in this territory, so it wasn't a disguise.
"Hold your fire!" he said again, this time shouting at the people approaching. Hopefully, the spoken English would be enough for them to keep them from shooting, in spite of Bryan's attire. "We're Farm Station!" he further announced before stepping out from his cover with his hands raised.
The sun was setting behind the people approaching, so he could still only see silhouettes. He didn't see Pike's distinctive form, but someone else's caught his attention and made his heart jump with hope. He watched the figure, hoping his mind wasn't playing tricks on him, and when he was sure the other Arkers weren't going to fire, he lowered his hand to pull the covering off his face.

one day it'll be me and you against the world @bryanbryanbryan A beacon came in from Farm Station and though there was wariness that it was a trap - after all the Ice Nation had one of their beacons as well - all of them weren't going to take the risk of not going. This was their people, they could be in danger! No way were they going to just sit back. If it was truly survivors then they deserved to come to Arkadia and reunite with the rest of the Arkers.
Miller had requested, on no uncertain terms, to go with them. He bade goodbye to his friends before taking a seat in the back of the solar powered jeep. Though he hadn't wanted to, Miller was also holding a gun in case they countered any hostiles even if things were tentative on either side. Miller didn't exactly want to be the one to break the peace and have the commander's armies coming to their doorstep but there was nothing he could do. So he just sat on his seat, head resting against the interior wall and closed his eyes.
He was quiet on the journey, barely making any sounds even as they went over bumps in the 'road.' He refocused his attention when the vehicle slowed to a halt. The door was pushed open with Miller being one of the first to jump out and down, reaching out to help another one to the ground before his hand closed around his weapon and he scanned the area. "Stay together." Miller spoke, glancing up towards the skies. The sun was behind their backs which was good - if their enemy stayed ahead they would be partially blinded, giving them a bit of an advantage.
The voice that called out made him pause, his weapon still drawn as he looked down its sights. That voice, could it be? Miller blinked, approaching with a quicker gait even as the Farm Station survivor in Ice Nation clothing pulled down the covering that covered his face. And he knew for certain. It wasn't his mind playing tricks or his want and need and hope that caused him to hallucinate. "Don't shoot!" Miller told his comrades. "It's really Farm Station." He breathed out, holstering his weapon and all but running towards the one who had spoken.
"You're alive." Miller felt the relief flood his system as he reached for Bryan, wanting to touch him, to make sure he was real. "Are you okay? Any injuries?" Heavens be good, if anyone had hurt his boyfriend he would be livid - of course he'd tend to the wounds first because out here, getting wounded could be deadly.
He didn't care if the others saw him, reaching forth to kiss his boyfriend without any hesitation or reservations. Not only had he missed him terribly, he had thought he would never see him again.
Fate was far too kind to bring him back.

The figure Bryan had focused on started to move toward him, faster than anyone else, and then he spoke, telling the others not to shoot, that it was Farm Station, and Bryan would recognize that voice anywhere. Bryan couldn't stop his feet from running toward Nate, just as Nate started to run toward him. He couldn't stop his arms from throwing themselves around Nate as soon as he was close enough, holding him tightly. Nate asked if he was okay, but then he kissed him, and Bryan didn't care who was looking as he kissed him back. Anyone who knew Bryan knew that he'd long been holding out hope he'd see his boyfriend again. Anyone who knew him, knew that beyond keeping Farm Station safe, finding Nate was his top priority. He'd worried on occasion that Nate could have moved on by now, assumed Bryan was dead and carried on with his life. But all those fears vanished with the feel of Nate's lips against his own.
Part of him wanted to cry from happiness right now, but in the back of his head, he knew this moment couldn't last long. They were still in dangerous territory. "I'm fine," he panted when the kiss broke, his tone reassuring, leaning back enough to look at Nate's face, one hand moving to cup his jaw. He didn't want to stop touching him, and for a moment, he just stared at Nate, almost not believing this could be real. "I'm perfect now," he added. There was so much to talk about, so much they'd missed. Nothing in this world was perfect, but in this moment, Bryan felt happier than he had in months, since the day the Ark revoked visitation to the Skybox with zero explanation.
Bryan glanced behind Nate at the other Arkers, then behind himself as his fighters started to slowly emerge from hiding. He forced himself to pull away a bit, but didn't move out of Nate's personal space. "Where did you guys come from? Did you happen to cross paths with Charles Pike or Hannah Green?

@bryanbryanbryan The last time Nate saw Bryan was back on the Ark when it was in space. He was in the Skybox after being caught stealing and he was granted visitation in which Bryan and his father would visit when they could. Until they weren't allowed - in that time he had been in a secret class with their Earth Skills teacher, Charles Pike. None of them took it serious enough because, at least for him, he had thought it was pointless. And then he came to earth and he wished he paid a little more attention than what he had done.
When the Ark came to earth, Nate had held hope that he'd see Bryan again. Though he never thought he'd see him when he was on the dropship, he hadn't let his heartbreak destroy him. He had remained faithful, not even sharing a kiss or another man's bed because his heart belonged to Bryan. Thousands of miles between them did not change how he felt - it made it a thousand times more worse in a way. Because he missed him terribly, every single day. None of that seemed to matter now as he was right there, right there alive and well. As well as he could be anyway. Miller had already looked at him for any sign of injuries, worried about what he might have had to endure while being here.
He kne from experience. When the dropship landed and they thought they were alone, that had rapidly shifted into a fight for survival. And with Bryan in Ice Nation gear it meant they had experienced Ice Nation and Miller knew that clan of grounders weren't exactly warm and fuzzy people. Made the commander look like a fairy godmother. "I'm glad and relieved. I missed you so much." His voice was heavy and thick with emotion, his hands touching Bryan's face, holding him close for a few seconds and just breathe in his scent before reality came crashing back - it wasn't safe here and this was akin to a rescue mission.
"Akadia. It's where the Ark crashed. We've set up camp there. And we're here to take you home." He looked around to the others. "All of you home. I cannot imagine what you've all been through but you're not alone anymore." They were all coming back home to Arkadia. Turning to face Bryan, he replied to his question. "They're back at Arkadia. Safe and a little worse for wear but alive."
"If we want to get back before dark we better load up and start heading back now. Do you have any supplies that need to be brought back? Any other survivors?"

Bryan turned and watched his people as Nate addressed them. He didn't think he needed to reassure them that Nate could be trusted, given the way he and Nate had greeted each other, and they didn't look like they needed reassurance anyway. Good. He turned back to Nate as he explained that Pike and Hannah were in Arkadia, and he drew a slow breath and let it out, feeling some of the tension that had been building in his body in their absence seep out. They were safe.
When Nate started talking about heading back so they could make it back before dark, asking what they needed to load up and if there were any survivors, Bryan frowned. "There's a lot more of us. So unless there's a lot more of those coming over the hill," he said, gesturing at the vehicle, "a lot of us are going to be on foot. We won't make it before dark on foot." He had no idea where Arkadia was, but they'd explored much of the area on foot and hadn't ever seen it, so it had to be a long trip without a vehicle. "We should wait 'til morning. Our defenses will be stronger with your people, and we can head out at dawn." If he felt secure enough with Nate's people and his own guard working together, maybe he cold get some alone time with Nate tonight too. He desperately wanted it, but he had to make sure things were in order first.
Tag: @nate ooc: 49 people, mostly Farm Station, died in the MW explosion, so I figure there are AT LEAST 60 people or so. Hope this is ok! Lemme know if I need to edit!
