This is my Fight Song --TAKE BACK MY LIFE SONG, PROVE I'M ALRIGHT SONG All thoughts seemed to leave Harper's mind as the gates opened. While she had decided against joining Bellamy on his mission, that didn't mean she was yet against their side. So when they were back, her focus moved completely to them. She ran over to the gate, a slight worry in her chest that something could have gone wrong. Their plan was to go and attack a grounder village, to clear it out so the land could be used for farming. Harper...hadn't put too much thought into that. For good reason. She wasn't all for the grounders, as all her experiences with them were on the negative side but she found herself growing uncertain whenever she thought too much about what they were doing. It was best if she didn't and just focused on other things, things that wouldn't have her feeling uncertain. Harper was on Bellamy's side. He was the one that had kept them all safe since they landed on the ground, he was the one that got them out of Mount Weather. No matter what happened, Harper knew that she could trust him to keep her safe. At least more than anyone else. As people came inside the gate, Harper quickly noticed that there wasn't an air of victory to them. No one was smiling and not one looked happy in any way. That could have been because what they did wasn't a happy thing but Harper still found herself growing worried. When Bellamy appeared, a figure in his arms, Harper's worry grew into understanding. If someone had been injured, that might explain why everyone looked down. Things probably didn't go to plan. Before Harper moved over to Bellamy, she froze for a moment, recognising who it was. When she wa able to move again, she ran up to Bellamy, standing in front of him and forcing him to stop. Her eyes didn't land on him but on the person, in his arms. If there had been any double of who it was before, there was none now. "Monroe," Harper said, her hand going to her friend's face, lightly shaking her head to wake her. There was no movement, no reaction. Harper's mind came up with why - she knew what Monroe wasn't reacting but she didn't want to believe it. Why would she want to believe that her friend was... dead.
