Everything I do is for Azgeda
SHE'S GOING TO CATCH A COLD
Nia watched powerlessly as the future of Azgeda was put entirely into question. Her son had failed. Killed, like a coward. Nia watched the weapon piece him as Lexa came out victorious in the battle. Her hand clenched in a fist, a slight tremble to them from the failure. She had spent nearly 3 decades raising him. Grooming him to be a fit leader; a future king. And now, he was dead. Felt was not only the pain of losing a son, but the loss that Azgeda now suffered with having no heir. Ontari was her only hope. She had revealed her identity to Lexa by bleeding her over Wanheda's face.
But with the coup that Nia had successfully caused -- now apparently settled by this battle, Nia was unsure of her fate. She may be killed. Or she would continue to be the queen of Azgeda, forced to serve under Lexa for as long as the Heda was alive. Nia had so hoped that tonight would mark her death. But her son was unsuccessful. Nia felt ashamed for his failure. The guards 'escorted' her to the throne room, where she was to wait for Heda's judgment. This had not gone according to plan. But Nia could only hope that somehow, it would still fall into place. That somehow, Ontari could continue on.
That she would fight in the conclave and win. The only matter left at had, was killing Lexa. And trying to determine who would carry on her legacy. When the doors opened for Lexa to enter, Nia's gaze fixated on the woman, with pure disdain. Nia had once killed someone Lexa loved, and the Commander now did the same. But that hardly left them even. Nia wuold not let these go unanswered. Nia tilted her chin a little up, her expression lacking the pain of losing a son.
There was anger. The only thing Nia could be relieved for was that her little pet Wanheda was not in the room too. "Well, what is it then," she spoke, knowing that showing disrespect to Heda was never wise . . . but she had far too much pride to ever submit. "What is your judgment?" She questioned in regards to her own fate. "Bear in mind, that my death will not regain the support of the clans. We are all in agreement that you are unfit to rule." Nia had lost something precious to her today at the hands of Lexa. She was not going to hold back. Not anymore.

HEDA LEXA KOM TRIKRU blood must have blood Roan lay on his back before her as she aimed the spear at his heart, just above his chest. Her hand dripped black blood along the shaft though her firm remained strong, ignoring the pulsing pain. He begged her to kill him and as her eyes looked up to the Ice Queen, her resolve as rigid as steel, she peered back at Roan before speaking. "Yu gonplei ste odon." Driving the spear into his heart ensured a swift, painless death. In that moment she had accomplished more than just protecting her title as Heda; the coup that Nia had tried to start died before it could take flight. Blood must have blood. It may have taken time but that price has now been paid. For years she had wanted Nia to suffer the pain that she had caused by torturing, killing and then cutting off Costia's head. Sending it to her bed of all things. To retaliate would have meant war and Lexa needed to step carefully if she wanted to have peace remain in the clans. Killing Nia would have caused Azgeda to retaliate and possibly even wipe out more than just Trikru. Azgeda was a large clan, full of warriors just as deadly as her own. A full out war could have devastated her people, her coalition, everything she'd worked for. Once the battle had ended, Lexa was taken to be cleaned up, her wounds looked over and to assess the situation. It seemed the other ambassaders were not as quick to jump to continue the coup; that threat was diminished for the time being. The matter at hand was Nia and what she was going to do with the Queen. Entering the throne room in full warlord garb, Lexa strode towards the throne, turned around and stared at Nia before she sat down, all with graceful and deliberate steps as befitting as the Heda she was. The hand she had grabbed Roan's blade with slicing into her flesh, was wrapped up and although it pained her at times, she would not hesitate to use the dagger that remained a constant presence at her side. She doubted she was going to need it; this was not going to be an execution. As Nia spoke, one of her guards told her to hold her tongue. Lexa responded by lifting up a hand to silence them. She was, unfortunately, right. Killing her now would only serve to rip apart the precious mending she had done by killing Roan. "Not all." Lexa began, her eyes flashing. As much as killing Nia would mean she had taken care of the woman who killed her lover, her living was a much better punishment; she would live with the pain of losing someone she loved and though she wasn't unkind by nature, it did make her feel rather pleased. "What is done is done. Blood must have blood and blood had blood. It's over." The words tasted like acid in her mouth but she spoke them anyway. Rule with logic, not emotion. Judgement was simple. "You will live. I'm not blind to think that if I killed you things would remain the same. In doing so you will swear fealty to me. You will not cause another uprising. You will be loyal to me and to this alliance." If Azgeda was shown to support her then the rest would fall in line without any further prodding and it would remove the largest threat from within the coalition. TAG: Queen Nia NOTES: let me know if this is okay! getting into the leadership part of her head is rough sometimes hahaha THIS LAYOUT WAS CODED BY RAINE OF THE 100 ROLEPLAY
