Mikha crouched in a tree just outside the Azgedan boarder. She wanted desperately to get some of her parents things that she had left behind five years ago. she didn't want to go back after what happened. The memory still haunted her. She was thirteen when her parents were killed. She knew that they should not have been spies for the TriKru But then she had no choice. She was supposed to die with them. Even though she was innocent. But somehow she managed to get away. She had spent the next five years hiding and eating when she could. She had grown proficient in being sneaky. But then she had to be. She had almost been caught many times. Over the years she had learned to fight and take care of herself. She had to kill once and a while to survive and she hated that. But what could she do? Her world had come crashing down on her that fateful night and a once sweet girl had changed. She had a wild streak in her that was dangerous. But the thought of the Queen still haunted her dreams and she had no way to get rid of them. Mikha had weighed this situation out many times in her mind and she was more than frightened at the prospect of going back into the Azgedan borders. But she had to try. It was getting dark now and she knew that there was a way in that was not guarded when the change of guard happened. She had to be exact or she would get caught. She had been watching for days now and she knew their routine.
Dropping out of the tree, she landed in a crouch. Her eyes darting around making sure she had not been seen. Then, keeping low, she made her way toward her goal. Pausing behind trees every so often so that she could gauge the distance and make sure she was not being seen, she slipped thought the small area in the fence and kept on going. It took a moment to get her bearings as she had not been here since she was thirteen and a few things had changed slightly. Once she knew where she was she hid in the shadows until she got to her parents home. It was worn down slightly, but other than that she could see that no one lived there. Glancing around, she quietly made it to the door and slipped inside. Phew! She made it. She paused for a few minutes as her eyes adjusted to the room and the moonlight from outside was able to light her way. Now maybe she could hunt for that knife.
