Ontari had won. Her life had led up to that moment as she sat on the throne that was now her own. She was now Heda. Crowds had gathered to see her and she found herself unsure of what to do in the moment, other than tell them of her victory and wait for the flame keeper to arrive. The flame keeper would know what to do next and would guide her in her journey of becoming Heda. Until then, however, she would try and bask in her victory and get used to the crowds watching her. It was something that she would do a lot as Heda, being in front of large crowds. She knew that much. It would do her well to be comfortable with it and to know how to hold herself so that they saw her as their leader and not just the scared teenager that she felt she was. This was what she had been raised for, to be Heda. She would be Heda. As she looked down at the crowd from her throne, Ontari caught sight of head full of familiar blonde hair. A burst of anger suddenly rose in her chest and her fingers curled into fists on the arms of the throne. Why was she still in Polis? Ontari couldn't help but wonder how the girl could be as stupid as she was. After Lexa's death she had stayed, she had been with the other Nightbloods and now she was here, in the presence of Heda Ontari. It would be impossible to imagine a person with less of a brain than Clarke. And now Ontari had a choice to make. She could ignore the girl's presence and deal with her later when she killed everyone in Skaikru, or she could make a show of her strength and kill Clarke right there and then. Ontari knew which one of those options sounded the most appealing. Being so unsure of what she was supposed to do, so worried that her people would see through her mask of strength, a real show of strength was what she needed. What could be a better show of strength than to kill Wanheda herself? And so with that, Ontari stood up from her throne. It was easy to see when people noticed and it was easy to see who already thought of her as Heda and who did not. With her standing, some of the crowd began to bow. Confidence built in Ontari when she saw that, helping to strengthen her mask and to make her the smallest bit more sure that she would be Heda, and she would be a strong leader too. Coming down from where the throne was positioned, Ontari moved into the crowd in the direction which she had seen Clarke standing. Her sword was gripped firmly in her right hand and her left hand pushed people out of the way when they wouldn't move. It didn't take Ontari long to find Clarke. Looking at Clarke, she knew that she was ready to kill her. With a smirk on her face, Ontari raised her sword ready to strike. "How kind of Wanheda to come acknowledge me as Heda." Clarke Griffin || A bit of a ramble I think but hey, Ontarke. XD |
