War. It was what Ontari had been raised for.
Her heels pressed against the sides of her steed, causing the horse to speed up and keep pace with the rest of the warriors around them. There was nothing that Ontari could imagine to be better than the feeling of riding into battle. The adrenaline had begun to run through her body, just enough for her to feel alert and ready. The sounds around her were familiar: the clicking of hooves against the ground, the occasional shouts from her fellow warriors, calls of instruction and sighting, and of course, the one that she had grown well familiar with, the war drums of Trikru. For Ontari, the only war she was yet to know was that against Trikru. It was the war that Azgeda had been fighting for so long, long enough that Ontari was too young to remember anything else. That is why she felt so comfortable, so familiar as she rode into battle like this. It was all she knew of war, and war was all she knew. Everything about what she was doing felt like home to her.
As they rode closer to Trikru territory, Ontari let her mind fall into the familiar rhythms of battle. She pushed back all the fear that she knew would hold her back, locked it away in her mind as she had learnt to do. Fear would cause her to falter. Fear would cause her to be injured. It would cause her death. What she needed was confidence, was bloodlust and was a dedicated mind to the tasks ahead of her. Ontari had her instruction for this particular battle and she would need to remember them in the heat of the battle. Trikru would know of their coming, they would hear the hooves of Azgeda's horses and would be prepared with their own warriors. But battle and death was not the only goal for that day. War involved more strategy than that and Azgeda wanted to know some more about Trikru's inner workings at that time.
And so they finally rode into the territory of their enemies. The rhythms of both armies, the drums and the horses, came together to create the music that they would dance to. Ontari took out her sword, holding it high in the air, prepared for the first wave of warriors to come from all sides. Sae || This was way too fun to write. I FINALLY DID THE STARTER. |

War. It was what Sae had been trained for since her father's death when she was 6 years old. And after all those years of training, she was finally ready. That was why she had been sent with other archers to wait for the first wave of Azgeda warriors and to attack them as soon as they will enter in Trikru territory. To do that, they had hidden in trees surrounding the path that the enemies will probably take. They had always taken the same path every time they had attacked Trikru, so all the Trikru warriors had to do was to hide and wait for them, ready to shoot. So Sae was in a tree, not very high so she could go down very quickly just by jumping but without taking the risk of hurting herself. When she heard the clicking of hooves against the ground and after making sure that she couldn't be seen from the ground, Sae took her bow and an arrow, ready to shoot the first enemy who will be within shooting range. As the clicking was getting closer, Sae closed her eyes and took deep breaths, trying to focus on what she had to do and pushing back the stress. She opened her eyes again just in time to see the Azgeda warriors come. She hated Azgeda, they took her father, and that hate made every fears or doubts that she had go away. And after waiting for all the first wave of enemies being in the shooting area, Sae shot an arrow along with the other Trikru warriors. Her arrow didn't touch the female warrior she was aiming but she hurted her horse so her enemy fell of it. As soon as she had seen that her enemy was falling down, Sae jumped on the ground and grabbed her sword but the Azgeda warrior was faster than her and when Sae arrived, she had already picked up her sword. The first of Trikrus' attacks came in the form of arrows. It was well known to Azgeda that Trikru had archers, archers that could hide almost completely in the trees and shoot with an accuracy that was often near perfect. They were known for that and used it well to soften the numbers of their enemies that would make it far enough to have a chance at being a part of the real fight. Azgeda was not as well known for their archers but by then they knew to come prepared. A lot of training had gone into those talented in archery, day in and day out preparing for this battle. While Ontari was not one of those, she did know about them and was ready both for arrows to fly towards her and out into the trees ahead. This meant that she was not surprised when the first arrows were shot.
Her sword was kept high for the reason of the archers. As she rode past the first trees in Trikru territory, she sliced the weapon through some thinner low hanging branches and kept her eyes up and on the lookout for any archers within range of her blade. It was a new technique, a new battle plan. To continue with the order she had been given by Nia herself, Ontari first needed to make it through the archers. It would be difficult to use them for her purpose, they stayed high and would be too difficult to get near. Foot soldiers were who Ontari wanted to get to. In the trees that Ontari had so far passed, no archers were to be found. They were further into their territory, shooting at Azgedas' warriors from afar. As much as it should not have a been a thought to pass through Ontari's mind, she could appreciate the technique and thought that went into where they placed their archers. It could have been that thought, that momentary distraction that was what caused the thing to happen next.
Ontari was thrown off her horse. While she was at first surprised and in shock at the move, she quickly recovered, curling in her limbs to protect her head and help to lessen her fall. It still hurt. The pain left her gritting her teeth but she didn't allow it to stop her. She had felt much worse pain than that through her many years of training under Nia. Her first reaction was to stand and she did that, pulling herself back up onto her feet and having her eyes scan her surroundings for any immediate danger. She caught a glance of her horse stampeding further into Trikru territory, hopefully he would take down some warriors before they took down him. It was obvious to Ontari that her steed had been hit with an arrow. The next of her thoughts was to her sword, realising that she had lost it when she'd been thrown to the ground. While it was true that Ontari carried more weapons with her than just that sword, she still preferred it to smaller blades and decided that it was worth finding again.
It took no more than three blinks of an eye for Ontari to find the weapon, laying on the ground near a tree to her left. Her feet moved quickly and she was able to collect the weapon before anyone else had a chance to. While she couldn't imagine an archer trying to take a sword, and there weren't any foot soldiers nearby, she had learnt not to make assumptions in the heat of battle. It was how one ended up a head on a stick. True to her thoughts, Ontari caught sight of an archer on the ground, moving towards where she now stood with her sword. The archer was slim and female, a rare sight with fire colour hair and moonlight skin. With her unique looks, Ontari knew the girl would make a pretty prize to bring back to her Queen. The archer would decorate Azgeda's palace courts well. Luckily for the archer, however, that was not something Ontari could do. The fact that the girl was there, on the ground and well within range for Ontari to take. Nia would not be happy to see the Trikru girl dead. Ontari knew her queen would want the girl nothing but alive.
Knowing that time would not be on her side, Ontari moved quickly towards the girl. While she couldn't kill the archer, she still had to stop her from being able to shoot. She would also have to make it as easy as possible to capture her. So Ontari swung her sword out, slicing it into the archer's forearm. Ontari had no idea how deep the cut would be, swords were not always as good at slicing into flesh like smaller blades were, but she could hope it was enough that the archer wouldn't be able to pull the string back on her bow. Her sword swung back down towards the ground in the follow through from her attack and she glared at the archer, her lips parting slightly to show off her teeth like an attacking animal would. Sae || I think this might be a little long. Sorry! |

Sae had managed to make the Azgeda female warrior fall of her horse but the latter one broke her fall so she got on her feet faster than Sae expected. But she kept following her plan which was to caught the leader of this wave of warriors to have a way to bring pressure to bear on the Ice Queen and apparently this young warrior was this person so Sae carefully jumped from the tree which let time for her enemy to look around probably to see if she was attacked and to try to locate her sword. As soon as she was on the ground, Sae began to walk quickly towards the warrior, shooting some Azgeda warriors on her way but always keeping an eye on the female warrior she needed to caught. As she saw her enemy moving to pick up her sword, Sae shot a last warrior which was on her way before putting her bow away and grabbing her sword. However, the young female warrior had seen her and had begun to move quickly towards her and as she had just grabbed her blade, Sae wasn’t ready to block or to dodge an attack. She let a small groan as her opponent made her a deep cut into her forearm, preventing her to use her bow and making the swordplay much harder. But Sae wasn’t going to give up that easily so she took a deep breath, tightened her grip around the sword despite the pain and took a cautious step forwards, ready to attack. Apparently, the surprise will be Sae’s only ally for this fight but as surprise had always been one of her greatest assets, she hoped it would save her once more. Sae swung the blade around faking to aim her enemy’s left shoulder but as the latter one was going to block the attack, she kicked the warrior’s right leg to destabilise her. There were few things that managed to surprise Ontari and the archer carrying a sword really shouldn't have but it did. Ontari had gained a very narrowed view of the archers from Trikru, viewing them as warriors that always focused on their archery rather than learning multiple skills. It did work to Ontari's advantage that the warrior switched weapons however, allowing her attack to work better than it might have otherwise. The archer, too busy with adjusting to her sword, was unable to block Ontari's sword and so the cut made in the archer's arm was deeper than Ontari had thought she might manage. A smirk played on Ontari's features, pleased with the attack, but she didn't spend any time in celebration, knowing that a warrior would never give up so quickly.
Of course, Ontari was right about that. The archer swung her sword, aiming towards Ontari's left shoulder. It was a bad attack and Ontari could hardly believe that the archer had tried it. With little trouble in doing so, Ontari brought her sword up to block the attack. There was a high sound as the metal of both swords clashed together and Ontari quickly moved to try and push back against the archer's sword. Her plan was to twist the weapon out of her enemy's grip and leave her open and easy to capture. That, however, did not go to plan. While her attention was focused on the archer's sword, the archer attacked her in an unexpected way. Ontari almost couldn't believe it when she felt the impact against her leg, For such a small person, the archer had managed to put a lot of weight into the kick. That, along with the fact that Ontari was taken by surprise caused her to stumble back. For a second Ontari thought she would even lose her balance although she just managed to stay standing.
The pain in her leg caused her to bite her lip for a moment but it was hardly anything in comparison to pain she had known from her training and from Queen Nia. There was no choice for Ontari but she push past it and continue on with her next attack. Her eyes watched the enemy, looking for any obvious signs of weakness. It was difficult, really, to tell in the heat of battle what might be the best move. Ontari was still young and while she had been in many battles so far, she had very little experience compared to some warriors on both sides of their war. Knowing that a blow towards the archer's upper body would likely be expected, Ontari took a page from her enemy's book and crouched down as she pushed forward. Her sword swung again, moving around the side of the archer's legs. She made sure the position the weapon so the flat of the blade pushed against the back of the archer's knees, rather than the edge, in an attempt to get her to lose her balance and fall. Sae || If Sae manages to make Ontari bleed, it could make things interesting. |

The impact of the two swords clashing sent a painful jolt up Sae's wounded arm and made her bite her lip but she didn't weakened, she tightened her grip around her sword. Then, when she kicked the warrior's leg, she saw her stumbling back but unfortunately her opponent didn't fall even if Sae seemed to have surprised her. However, while Sae could have attacked the warrior when she was still vulnerable, she chose to analyze her, trying to guess what will be her next move. As her forearm was hurted, an attack towards her upper body would be more than predictable and the warrior even if she was quite young probably knew that so Sae guessed she was going to attack towards her legs so Sae got ready to dodge the attack without showing that she had anticipaed it. Sae wasn't surprised when her opponent's sword swung around her legs, and her first reflex was to jump to dodge the blade. Jumping could appeared to be a stupid reflex but it saved her from getting hit. Then Sae took advantage of the surprise she had created at her enemy to attack in turn. While she was still in extension, she swung her blade around the warrior's left flank and as the later one didn't expected it, Sae managed to slice into her flank. She didn't know how deep the cut was but when she saw the warrior bleeding, it seemed that it was her turn to be suprised. Black blood... Her opponent was a Natblida... iah

There was definitely disappointment when the archer anticipated Ontari's attack, jumping over her sword and leaving Ontari in a vulnerable position. The archer had obviously also been trained in hand-to-hand combat as well as archery. It was something that Ontari hadn't totally expected when she usually found that warriors trained in one of the other. It was obviously a new plan from Trikru and one that lead to many more deaths on Azgeda's side in this battle. Even the loss of it. It wasn't that Azgeda always won the battles so that would not be a first but it would be a sad one. There had been a particular sense of confidence coming into this battle with their own archers. All they could hope was that their own preparation left the sides even on new tricks. And all Ontari had to do was make it through the battle alive and take the archer alive as a prisoner back to Azgeda.
Put in the vulnerable position by her failed attack, Ontari felt as the archer's sword cut into her side. She was caught by surprise and cried out in pain as the metal cut through her clothing and her skin. It was a blade that had been sharpened for battle and Ontari gritted her teeth together to stop from crying out a second time. She would not show that sort of weakness, not in the middle of a battle. If it was hurting so much, it wasn't an injury that would kill her. It likely wouldn't. Anyway, she had more important things than her health to worry about if the archer had managed to cut her. That was, her blood. "Skrish," Ontari said under her breath. Shit. She had one rule given to her when going into battle and that was to not get hit by a sharp blade. If she was, there was only one instruction given to her: kill anyone who saw.
Ontari looked up at the archer, both of them frozen in surprise at the colour of the blood coming from Ontari's found. It was obvious how different it was when compared to the red liquid that had came out of the cut on the archer's arm. In that moment, Ontari had to make a quick decision on what to do. She had two choices: kill the archer right there and then, and be forced to look for someone else to take back to Nia, or take her back to Nia knowing that she would be killed once the needed information was gotten from her. The first option held the least risk, taking someone prisoner always held risk of them escaping and killing her then would eliminte that risk. The second, however, was a lot more appealing in Ontari's eyes. She had already put so much effort into weakening this girl and it would be more difficult to find someone else to take back to Azgeda.
Once the moment was over and Ontari's decision had been made, she took out one of her smaller blades as she moved forward and aimed them both towards the archer's sword arm. Her sword hit against the archer's sword while the smaller blade cut into her forearm with the intention of getting the weapon onto the ground. It was the best plan that Ontari could come up with without taking too much time and risking the archer making another move first. If the archer was without a weapon, Ontari would get her onto the ground and tie her up. She had rope hidden beneath the first layer of her clothing and she could use that to bring the archer back to Azgeda. That was, if she was quick enough and lucky enough to make her drop the sword. Sae || Godmodded Sae not attacking again right away, hope that's okay. If not, let me know and I can change it! |

Black blood… Now that she knew that her opponent was a Natblida, Sae changed her plan and decided to try to capture the girl and to bring her to Heda. Apparently it won’t be easy at all, this girl was a very great warrior and Sae wasn’t sure she was able to capture this girl but she had to do her best to manage to do so. She really lacked of self-confidence right now, she always had actually, and the only person who could have brought her some wasn’t here but the fact that she had managed to hurt the warrior reassured her a little. However, now that she had seen that the blood of her opponent was black, the Azgeda warrior will probably try to kill her to keep her secret safe so Sae needed to be more careful than she already was. As Sae was still surprised about her discovery and was thinking about what she should do next, her opponent took advantage of the situation and attacked her but she reacted just in time to block the attack, at least that was what she thought because she managed to block her opponent’s sword but she hadn’t seen the smaller blade, she only felt it as it made another deep cut in her forearm. The pain of the cut added to the pain of the first one made Sae bite her lip not to cry. She could feel her hold on the sword weakened even if she put all of her strength in it. She closed her eyes trying to focus on the strength she put in her sword and not on the pain but apparently it wasn't enough and her sword fell down. But she won't give up now so she tried to find something to do. That’s when she thought about her quiver still being in her back so she quickly took an arrow and stabbed her opponent in her shoulder hoping it will give her some time to pick up her sword. iah

The clanging of swords was the only sound during Ontari's attack and her first thought because of that was that she had failed in her plan. There was no cry of pain, no sign to show that Ontari's blade had even managed to cut into the archer's arm. It was the exact thing she always feared of happening in a battle, that an attack would be so useless, one that she knew was a desperate and needed attack. Ontari had no choice there, she had to capture or kill the archer. If she didn't, all hell would break loose. Nia would be angry. When Nia was angry, Ontari... well, it wasn't a good thing at all. Then, a sign told her she hadn't failed in her attack, the red of blood beginning to seep where Ontari's blade had sliced in the archer's arm. That was enough, enough of a sign to give Ontari confidence in her attack. She pulled her blade back and put her attention back into her sword, pushing the weapon against the archer's sword. As she did this, putting pressure on the archer's freshly wounded sword arm, she watched as her plan came to success and the archer's weapon dropped down onto the ground with a soft thud.
A smile actually slipped onto Ontari's lips in that moment, the sound of the sword hitting the ground like music to her ears. It was perfect. There wasn't any other sound that Ontari could imagine in that moment that could make her feel more confident and powerful than that. Her hands began to move quickly, following through on the attack of her sword, just scrapping lightly against the stomach and side of the archer, not enough to do anything but possibly damage her clothing, as she brought the weapon back around to herself. Her other hand worked to remove the rope that she had hidden under the thick leather armor she wore in battle. What she didn't expect was that the archer would try to attack again. She kept the woman in her vision but wasn't focused enough to notice the arrow until it was already in her shoulder. This time, at least, Ontari bit down on her cheek to stop the cry of pain. She could taste metal but that didn't matter. There were other things to worry about in that moment.
Like the arrow in her shoulder. Thankfully, due to the fact that it was put there by Sae's hand and not her bow, Ontari didn't have to worry about it being deep in her skin. Gritting her teeth in preparation for the pain, Ontari quickly pulled the arrow from her shoulder, throwing it away from them and not paying any attention to where it landed. Although, maybe she should have payed more attention to where her sword had landed. The pain and surprise of the arrow had caused her to drop her favourite weapon. Her eye widened as she realised the blade wasn't in her possession, quickly moving to look where it sat on the ground between her and the archer. Next to where the archer's sword also sat. Not that both swords would stay there for long. Ontari could already see the archer going for her weapon. Hardly a thought into her attack, Ontari jumped onto the archer and tackled her to the ground, her hands going to pin her arms, her knees digging into the archer's thighs. Using her uninjured arm, she continued to pull her rope out. This might be her only chance. Sae || Would Sae's arrows be poisoned? Also, total gmodding here. Apparently, the sound of Sae's sword falling on the ground made her opponent becoming more confident than she was earlier. She was now swinging her sword around Sae who was alittle worried about what was going to happen, but the girl was just making some cuts in her clothing. But sometimes being confident could be wrong especially when you were too confident and Sae knew that. So she decided to try to take advantage of the situation by attacking the girl while she was taking some rope or something like that in her armor which confirmed her thought about the Natblida not wanting to kill her but to capture her. As the archer expected, the surprise effect was such that her opponent didn't have time to react to try to stop the attack. And even if she knew that it won't be as painful as it could have been because the arrow wasn't poisoned and had been put in the girl's shoulder by her hand and not her bow, Sae was quite proud of her because it will at least slow her enemy down.
As the girl was focusing on her wound, Sae quickly located her sword, it was next to her opponent's one. If she managed to get there, she would pick up the two weapons and it would probably be easier to capture the other girl so she began to run in the swords direction. But the Azgeda warrior being out of her sight for few seconds, the archer didn't see her jumping onto her to make her fall on the ground. With her face against the ground and the warrior on her preventing her to move her arms and her legs, Sae didn't know what to do to get out of this shituation... But she needed to try something because if her thoughts were right, the Natblida won't kill her so she didn't take many risks, plus even if what she would do made her easier to capture, she would still hve a chance to escape so she had to attempt something. Suddenly she got an idea, while she was struggling since the girl was on her, she began to struggle less and less and ended not moving at all, holding her breathe, faking to be dead hoping the warrior will fall in the trap and will just return to battle. And when she will get up and turn back to go picking up her sword, Sae will attack her again and this time, it will work!
iah | Sorry for the wait! The "faking to be dead" idea is a little bit crazy... xD So if you find it too crazy, let me know and I'll change it! ^^

Relief. Joy. Excitement. Ontari felt it all running through her body as she had the archer pinned to the ground beneath her. Her eyes glinted with it, although the archer wouldn't be able to see that, having fallen face-down when Ontari tackled her. Moving as quickly as she could, Ontari pulled the rope out and began to tie the archer's hands together, putting all her strength into keeping her pinned to the ground as she did that. It was difficult with the way that the archer was struggling but that was to be expected. If the archer wasn't struggling, Ontari would lose any respect for her as a warrior, knowing that it was not a warrior's thing to do to just give up. It didn't matter which clan the warrior was from, Ontari assumed they would all hold the same standards, especially on something like that. As Ontari knotted the rope tying the archer's arms behind her back, she noticed that the struggling below her had gotten less intense, easier to deal with and as Ontari noticed this, it came to stop completely.
There was suspicion at that, unsure of just why the archer would decide to give up when they had been fighting so hard. It didn't make sense. Ontari's eyes quickly raised, taking in the space around her, checking that there weren't other warriors about to attack. There was no one close enough to cause Ontari to worry, herself and the archer were in a relatively quiet area, far back from the main battlefield. So what else could have caused the archer to stop struggling? Moving off the archer's legs and instead sitting her knees on either side of her, Ontari quickly turned the archer onto her back. She was quick in her movement, rough as well, very little care for the well-being of the archer. She had no reason to care, only enough to want to keep her alive. That wasn't even because Ontari cared for her life -- Ontari had killed many people in battle or under the orders of Nia -- but because Nia wanted one Trikru warrior to take as prisoner.
Now with the archer on her back, Ontari put her focus into working out why she had stopped struggling. The first thing she took notice of was the fact that... she wasn't breathing. "Yu stedaun?" Ontari asked, anger seeped into her voice as she hit the ground beside the archer. You dead? Of course, if the answer was yes, Ontari wouldn't actually get an answer. She knew that it was possible that the archer was dead, that the way Ontari had tackled her to the ground could have caused her to hit her head. Still, Ontari was sure that she had been careful not to do that. Obviously she hadn't been careful enough. Now all the time she had spent on trying to capture the archer was wasted. Ontari still had her orders and she knew she would have to move on quickly and find another warrior that she could capture. On the plus side, her secret was safe if the archer was dead. Standing to her feet, Ontari didn't bother untying the hands of the dead warrior, she still had enough rope with her to capture someone else. Sae || So sorry that this was slow! Ontari muse can be difficult to write sometimes! |

Faking to be dead was a quite a hard thing, you had to hold your breath, not to move and oppose no resistance if someone touch you or try to move you. But apparently Sae managed to do it quite well according to the warrior's reaction. As the Natblida stopped tying her, Sae prepared herself not to resist when the other Grounder will check if she was really dead or not, because she was almost sure the girl would do that. Sae had no idea how much time she spent not breathing, not moving before the Azgeda warrior finally turned her to put her on her back. When she did, the archer refrained herself from wincing at the pain she felt her whole weight being rested on her arms, one of them being injured. But the thought that her wounded arm was hidden behind her back wasn't that bad, deads didn't bleed but as the warrior couldn't see it, she won't notice that detail. As the Nightblood asked if she was dead, Sae wanted to laugh, what a strange question, but she managed to stay calm. When she heard the other warrior getting up and turning back ready to go away, Sae opened her eyes and rolled in order to kick the Natblida right behind her knees, as she did that, she said " Yu gaf!" - You wish! - Sae wasn't going to give up, even now while her hands were tied in her back but it would be easier without this rope so as the Azgeda warrior was on the ground because of the kick amplified by the surprise effect, Sae who had located the swords not far from where she was got on her feet as quickly as she could and ran to pick up the weapons to free her hands. iah

Letting any thought of the archer leave her mind, Ontari was already thinking about how she would catch another Trikru warrior. This task had specifically been given to Ontari and it was one that she knew she couldn't fail on. Nia didn't accept failure and Ontari liked to do all in her power to keep the Queen happy. Happy Queen, happy life. Maybe she would be lucky and find a warrior that wasn't quite dead as she walked to the main battle field. If she could keep someone alive long enough to get them to Azgeda healers, that was all that mattered. A half-dead warrior would obviously be a lot easier to deal with as well, and that was exactly what Ontari both wanted and needed. She already felt tired and stressed from her dealings with the archer, bloody pounding harshly through her body from the fear that had taken her at the archer seeing her blood. That was something that could not be repeated. No one else would see her black blood in this battle.
Things changed in a split second, before Ontari even had a chance to begin walking away from the arhcer. They fell out from under her quicker than a thought could come to catch her balance. Literally. As something hit the back of Ontari's knee, pain shot through the joint and up into her leg, her foot slipping off the ground and up into the air. It was almost a comical sight, leaves following her foot and the way her view changed in slow motion as her body lots balance and fell. Her view went from her foot to the treeline and eventually she came to see the foliage above. Although her eyes did close at some point, with the impact of the fall. The archer's voice--or what Ontari assumed to be the archer's voice--rang out with the attack. "Yu gaf!" The archer wasn't dead after all, Ontari had been tricked and the archer was a lot smarter than Ontari had originally assumed.
Hitting the ground, a groan sounded in the air. Ontari was unable to stop the sound from passing her lips. It was impossible to deny the fact that the archer had managed a great attack. Ontari's fingers curled at the thought, eyes narrowing. The pain was bearable and it faded enough after the initial impact for her to think clearly and move quickly. Lifting herself up from the ground, Ontari saw the glint of the swords in the morning sun. She also saw the contrast of red, the blood that was still seeping from the wound on the archer's arm. It was easy to see that Ontari would not make it to the swords before the archer so she did the next best thing. Moving up behind the archer, Ontari's fingers dug into the bright red cut on the archer's arm. The sound, though hard to hear, brought a look of disgust to Ontari's face but the expression on the archer's face was a lot more important. Sae || I love this thread! Sae was glad that she managed to take the warrior by surprise but also that she could finally breathe again but she couldn't waste time rejoicing of the success of her attack, she needed to get the swords to free her hands and be able to end this fight. So she got up and ran as fast as she could with her hands tied behind her back but apparently she wasn't fast enough. The Azgeda warrior had already got up and managed to dug her fingers into Sae's wound. Sae let a groan getting out of her mouth even if she tried to stop it by griting her teeth. Her injury was already really painful and it just got worse but she couldn't let that stop her, she needed to win this fight and she will. She could feel blood running out of her forearm and it seemed like her strength was running out of her body as well so she needed to do something quickly. Suddenly, Sae got an idea and she began to step back draging the warrior with her. She accelerated and accelerated until the Nightblood hit the tree which Sae had noticed was behind them. The impact shook her up a bit but Sae quickly recovered from it and tried to make her way to the weapons once again as fast as she could. So she was once again running in the swords direction hoping she would get there before the Azgeda warrior did or did anything else to stop her. When she reached the swords, she took one of them trying to cut the rope around her wrists like she had learnt to do and she put her foot on the other weapon so the warrior won't be able to pick it up as soon as she will arrive. iah
