whatever THE HELL WE WANT How funny that the two of them shared that in common. Bellamy's skill with words often lay in his ability to inspire his people. He could manipulate a crowd, build their morale, and so on. But when it came to negotiations with the Grounders, that was an entirely different matter. That, was where Clarke was far better with words than him. "I'm not usually the one who engages in negotiations either. It wasn't me who Anya met." It was Clarke. Octavia and Finn had been there too -- along with Lincoln of course, but it was mainly Clarke that Anya had conversed with. Bellamy had been hiding with the others to protect them if need be. And they had indeed needed to.
"I hope so," he agreed when she spoke of how some good could perhaps come of this. He was a realist but it didn't mean he wouldn't try to at least make some sort of peace. He would remain rational, aware that they may not achieve it with these Grounders, but perhaps hey could with the Ice Nation. When she said that she would rather not be mistaken for what he assumed was the name of the Grounders clan -- he took the moment to look over her, taking in the detail of her attire and how it may differ from the others.
What set her apart from the others. She had helped him, and he'd rather not encourage any of the Arkers to attack her if she was no threat. Which, judging by the way she spoke, she didn't intend to be. He soon became distracted from the purpose of looking at her, his gaze lingering over her rather perfectly formed figure more than the attire before he quickly recovered and his eyes met her face once more. "I'll do what I can to ensure that," he assured her, in regards to his people not mistaking her for the clan in the woods.
"Is it expected of you to fight in this war?" He asked, not only to distract him from what he had been gazing at . . . but more logically, to know where her intentions lay. If it meant upholding the alliance, he imagined the answer was yet. But, he had assumed that that was why she was here . . . yet, it didn't seem like she planned on causing them harm. It wasn't their battle, but it was that of their allies. Her next comment made him give a slight nod. "We didn't." That had not been their intention. They were sent down here, basically to die . . . the last thing they wanted or needed was a war.
"And it's unfortunate that it came down to that." Both sides had killed people on the other . . . and it wasn't going to stop there. Another faint smirk formed on his face when she encouraged the teasing mood between them. He couldn't resist but engaging in it. Whatever tension existed before, seemed to have diminished. And he had no complaints about that. He found he was enjoying this other side to her . . . and perhaps this other side of himself. "I didn't know you were so keen on trying to please me," he said teasing and . . . in another underlying tone that he hadn't entirely expected to speak in with her.

❅AI GONPLEI❅ AI SWIS "I've heard it was a woman Anya spoke with." Isa made a thoughtful noise as she tried to remember everything that was said about that meeting. It happened before she had made it to the Trikru lands and talk of it had dwindled by the time she visited them directly. While she was fuzzy on details it was clear that the meeting had not ended well. "Perhaps you should engage in negotiations. You seem to be doing fairly well today."
"At this moment it's not expected, but since we are allies there is still the possibility they may call upon us to join in battle." If the Trikru asked them to fight they would have to consider their options carefully. Fighting alongside their allies was well and good, but risking their lives for a battle they had no real passion or stakes in was not one of their desire. Turning down the Trikru, however, could cause problems within the Coalition if they were not careful. "Let's just hope they don't call on us for aid against your people."
The tone he spoke to her in made her blood run a bit hotter in her veins. The red flags bloomed brighter in her mind but she ignored them for the time being. It was just harmless teasing, she reminded herself. Chances were good she may never see this Sky Person again. So what harm was it in having a little bit of fun.
"Maybe I am." Her own tone shifted a little, matching his own underlying tone. It was weird speaking to anyone in this manner, let alone a near stranger. Her own people rarely bothered with this kind of teasing. Life was too short to play too many games. "Is that such a bad thing? A little pleasure every now and then is hardly a bad thing."

whatever THE HELL WE WANT The Grounder recalled that she'd heard it was a woman Anya had spoken with and Belllamy gave a nod in response. "It was. She's good at negotiating." Clarke had the political know how when it came to converse with their enemy. She then told him that he should engage in negotiations, commending on how he had done so far today. "Likewise. Though I suppose its easier to engage in them with someone who's willing to listen and keep an open mind." He wasn't insulting the Grounder tribe. He was just merely saying that the past was hardly forgotten nor could it be set aside for peace talks.
"I guess what happened outside these walls helped in maintaining some semblance of peace between us." Having helped each other, allowed them to develop a mutual understanding fair quicker than it may have naturally come. Or perhaps it wouldn't have come at all. It was difficult to say. All he knew was that he was glad for it now, as it allowed them to converse without hostility and anger. She answered his question in the way he'd expected . . . though was also grateful for the additional information of how she hoped that it didn't come to that. "Alliance aside, what do you think of this current situation between us and the Grounders?" He inquired. He wanted to hear a Grounders perspective; an outsiders perspective. It was becoming increasingly evident that she didn't want to fight on her behalf; that she didn't want to engage in this war. But their political stance may force them to.
So Bellamy wanted to hear her thoughts . . . taking in anything he could that would allow him to better understand where the Grounders were coming from, as well as what he could learn about this from their cultural perspective. Normally, he didn't care. But right now, the opportunity was here and he wanted to take advantage of it. It would be such a waste not to. She then spoke of how she possibly was keen on that . . . and that pleasure every so often wasn't a bad thing. Bellamy knew that well enough. He hadn't wasted any time in engaging in the pleasures that this world -- or more so the women in it -- had to offer. He'd even had a companion within the first night they'd come.
"I agree," he said in the same tone he had used when having this particular conversation with her. One that was light, and dare he say, playful. The teasing was most certainly welcome, and encouraged by her own. "But something tells me you haven't had a lot of those pleasures. At least not here." With this clan of Grounders. But he could be wrong. He wasn't going to be too intrusive in her personal life. He was merely just focusing on the now . . . the tease that could be offered based on the content of the discussion.

❅AI GONPLEI❅ AI SWIS "She may be, but negotions are difficult when you don't understand those you're speaking to." She dusted off a particularly large chunk of stone and plopped her rear down on it, crossing her legs and leaning her back against the wall. "She did well to get as far as she did."
"It probably did." There was no denying that what happened with the panther-creatures had faciliated the truce between the two of them. Without asking for anything in return and without knowing she was not Trikru he had helped her. She had repaid his kindness in return. Without the first act of kindness they certainly would not have ended up in this position even if they had somehow ended up holed up in this old building together.
"To be honest, I was going to leave you for dead to make my own escape. Until you shot the beast, that is." Isa did not like owing someone and returned all favours as quickly as possible. It had also put him from a faceless disposable stranger to a faceless stranger with some morals, even if it was a bit risky to try to save someone who might have turned around and killed him in return.
"I think it's stupid." Unable to sit still for very long Isa pulled a short blade from her boot and a whetstone from her pocket. She set to work sharpening the blade as she spoke to him. "Most of the deaths on your side were accidents. Like the kind children would make, but blood must have blood. Unfortunately I don't believe you can repay them, even if you were willing to. I don't think there's enough Skaikru left to make things even."
"Not for some while," She lifted her eyes from her blade, peering at him from beneath lowered lashed. There was not a hint of modesty or shyness in her tone or expression. Just the hint of heat in her light eyes and amusement in the small grin. "I haven't been home for a while and I don't often get a chance for pleasure here."

whatever THE HELL WE WANT It was true. Neither the Arkers or Grounders understood each other. War was evidently a huge part of the Grounder culture, but for the Arkers, it wasn't. Their strict laws disallowed violence and any sort of warfare. The irony . . . considering it was a nuclear war that destroyed Earth to begin with. "She's good." Which was an understatement. Bellamy trusted Clarke emphatically and knew that if there had been any way to make peace with the Grounders, she would have been able to do it.
But there hadn't been. Finn was just naive and Octavia . . . well, she had hoped due to her, relationship with the Grounder. If it could even be called that. Bellamy didn't like it. But he couldn't deny that the Grounder had tried to help them. "Guess we tried. Now we'll deal with what comes next." War. Bellamy had personally found it to be a wasted effort to attempt to make peace. But he had gone along with it, because Clarke wanted to at least try. That was reason enough for him. He respected her enough to give her that. The woman then told him that she was going to leave him for dead to make her own escape. He wasn't the slightest bit offended.
He hadn't expected anything different, which was why he had been surprised when she displayed a different intention. "Makes sense. Hell, I was hoping they get distracted with you so I could get away," he said with a slight smirk, though his words were true. But when he had seen her struggling . . . whatever protective instinct he had so intensely built up within him, had made him help her. And he didn't regret it. Even if she had tried to kill him, he did what his conscience told him to. "Worked out though. We were both able to help each other." It wasn't more one sided than the other. It had balanced out. But Bellamy hadn't done it for reciprocity. He didn't do something to expect something.
Her blatant honest about the war was, refreshing. She thought it was stupid. Good. So did he. The reason for it anyway. "We wouldn't repay them in that way regardless," he informed her. That was not part of their culture, unlike the Grounders. An eye for an eye. Bellamy had unfortunately learned a harsh lesson about that from Charlotte. "it's true, they were accidents. We never intended to start this war. But I don't think they get that. Until we can find some common ground, if ever, we'll be fighting them for a while." And when the other Arkers came down . . . well, who knows what would happen then.
It was interesting though. That she seemed to know that what had happened had been an accident. She'd acknowledged it. Why hadn't the others? Bellamy's unspoken question was answered only a second after it formed. It was because these Grounders had lost people. Accident or not, their own had died from it, not her people. Bellamy still didn't think it justified their hostility toward them, but they would always see them as a threat. As the ones who murdered their own people. Maybe one day that would change. Maybe it wouldn't. As Bellamy already acknowledged, he was a realist, not an idealist.
The conversation on pleasure was a far lighter one to engage in. She spoke of how she hadn't been home for a while, and didn't get the chance for pleasure here. "Sometimes you just have to take advantage of whatever opportunities you're presented with," he told her, no longer fully knowing what exactly was in the underlying tone of his words. Teasing most definitely, but was there something more? He wasn't certain. Nor was he going to over think it. The fact that they were able to hold this kind of conversation was a pleasant turn of things, and far be it from Bellamy to try and discourage it. Right now, they were just two people: a man and a woman. Not two enemies: an Arker and a Grounder. So why not embrace the former rather than the latter.

❅AI GONPLEI❅ AI SWIS "No hard feelings." Isa would be a hypocrite if she were to feel offended that he had been planning to make his getaway with her has a distraction. It had not been a personal matter at all. Just two people willing to do what it took to survive. "It did work out for the best, thankfully."
She was not surprised to hear that her assumptions about the Skaikru were correct. They were not willing to pay the price that the Trikru desired them to pay. It was against ones own nature to give up their life, especially when they believed they might have a fighting chance to survive. It was admirable even if their chances of casualties were fairly high
Isa said nothing for a while. If he did not understand that the why of the accidents did not matter then that was his own problem. She had made it clear enough that it was the deaths that motivated the Trikru, not the motives behind it. It was a simple fact of life. Debts must be paid and lessons must be learned.
"I would wish you luck in the war, but that would be wishing my allies ill." She tapped her whetstone against her blade a few times thoughtfully. "I can wish you luck in peace. Maybe the winds will turn and you'll be able to come to a reasonable agreement."
Not that she thought it would happen. She had fought against the Trikru before and knew all too well how stubborn they could be. The longer the tension and killing went on, the harder it would be for both parties to find some reasonable agreement. Peace was a longshot.
"Hmm, I suppose I do." There was a purring lilt to her voice as she contemplated his words. She had not lied when she claimed she had not had a chance for pleasure since she was last home. A spar against another Azgeda warrior had turned heated in a different manner. Double the fun. Unfortunately she had nothing of the sort since coming to the Trikru lands.
He was probably right. She should take advantage of opportunities while she was away from home. What harm would there be? It would actually be better to seek particular bits of fun here, where the risk of attachment was lower since she lived elsewhere.
"You're right. I can't be all work and no play. There's plenty of titillating opportunities here, I'm sure."

whatever THE HELL WE WANT She mentioned no hard feelings, and Bellamy was glad that at least the other didn't hold any ill will . . . for the time being anyway. They didn't have a reason to be against each other so why create waves when it was entirely unnecessary. She agreed that it did indeed work out for the best, and he too was thankful for that. "I understand," he told her, when she said that she would wish him luck but it wouldn't make it sound good for her allies. "Appreciate the thought," he said with a bit of a nod.
"Maybe," he added in response to her words, but he wasn't entirely hopeful. However, that didn't mean that he was unappreciative of her considerate words. It was more than he had expected and found it pleasantly surprising. Then again, this entire encounter with the Grounder was pleasantly surprising. "If there's a way to find peace, we'll find it. If not, then war it is. I hope for your people's sake you don't have to fight in it." There would be causalities on both sides, and the less that died from it . . . the better. Especially since her clan hadn't done anything against them. In this case, it was all about their alliance. "But I guess either way, you're prepared." For as Bellamy had previously established, their culture heavily involved war.
When she said that she couldn't be all work and no play, adding that there were plenty of opportunities here . . . he could no longer fully suppress the smirk that formed on his face. Albeit still a light one, but it was there. "That there are." The conversation seemed to be delving deeper into this . . . dare he say, slightly suggestive one. They seemed to share the same underlying meaning in their words, and Bellamy was not one to fully discouraged it.
He leaned against the wall of their shelter, his eyes remaining on her as he took in her expression. One that he found to be desirable. "And when they present themselves, you should grab them. You wouldn't want to regret anything, now would you?" He asked somewhat rhetorically. The fact that she was a Grounder was getting easier to forget. Right now, she was just a beautiful woman and well, he was doing what he often did when met with this kind of company . . . even under these circumstances it would seem.

❅AI GONPLEI❅ AI SWIS "Yes, either way we're prepared." The Azgeda prided thelmselves on being as prepared as possible for anything. Life in wintry lands required them to be at the top of their game. Food, pelts, weapons, armour, and regular training. They were a busy people.
As much as Isa loved a good battle, she sincerely hoped that she would not have to meet him in battle. While she may not feel an attachment to the male, she also felt no desire to fight him. He was a decent sort and not an enemy she would enjoy killing if it came to that.
She turned her thoughts away from potential battles to the more enjoyable conversation she was having.
"Oh yes, you're quite right." Her eyes remained on his as she ran her finger along the edge of the blade. She had managed to make him smirk. While it was not a real smile, which she had not been aiming for anyways, it was certainly quite the sight. He was a handsome man and had a rather charming, heated expression.
She lifted her knife and tapped it against her lip thoughtfully. "I make it a point to never regret anything. So I would be a full to turn down a bit of fun when it presents itself."
Isa was not sure when the fact that he was Skaikru left her thoughts, but she was not complaining. She trusted him, at least for now, and the conversation between the two of them had a growing heat to it that appealed to her baser instincts.
Nothing in the treaty said she could not 'dally' with whomever she desired to dally with. And she certainly intended to dally.
"Question is, is there an opportunity present?"

whatever THE HELL WE WANT His eyes followed her finger as it ran along the blade, his tongue slightly running over his lips to help moist them. He could blame the dryness due to the lack of water and all the physical energy they had used outside . . . but he also supposed that wasn't the only kind of thirst that he needed to be sated. His expression remained unreflective of this though, as he wasn't one to overly leer at a woman. That didn't mean he couldn't appreciate their beauty though. And with her playful words, it didn't seem like she was highly opposed to . . . well, whatever they were hinting at.
His eyes met hers once more, as she spoke of how she ensured never to regret anything, saying she wouldn't turn down a bit of fun . . . and whether there was actually an opportunity here that was presenting itself. He wasn't entirely sure what he was proposing even, but he could easily play along. "That depends," he said, toying with the idea. "On whether you want there to be or not." He took a couple of steps toward her, though not to invade her personal space so still kept a bit of a distance. "Because if you do . . . then I would say you should take what's presented. Cause you will regret it later on." Yes. He was just that confident. "So the real question is . . . " He took another small step toward her. "Will you?" Would she take advantage, or was this all a hypothetical conversation.

❅AI GONPLEI❅ She caught the way his eyes followed the motion of her finger and the peek of his tongue darting over his lips. That and his words were the only true hint she was having an affect on him. He was not pushing and left the ball in her court to do with as she pleased.
It was a nice sensation.
"Maybe I do," She watched him step closer as she slid her blade back into its sheath. The small whetstone was stashed away and she stood, taking a step towards him. Isa had to wonder if she really wanted to take the opportunity that was beginning to form here, but he had a point. If she did want there to be an opportunity, taking it would be the only course of action to avoid regret. Besides, they had no idea how long the fog would last and it would make for an interesting distraction.
"Oh, I believe I will." A wicked smirk curved her lips as she stepped closer, closing most of the distance between them. Her hand raised, brushing against his clothed chest. Her eyes finally left his, lowering to his own. The gaze lingered for a moment, long enough for him to notice, before she looked up at him again. "Well, come on big boy. Don't give me time to change my mind."

whatever THE HELL WE WANT It appeared that this wasn't all talk. He had stepped closer toward her, and she did the same . . . inching toward him until they were standing directly in front of each other. Her teasing words added to the moment as did her touch. The light brush against his chest, causing a desire to start to course through him, making him want to feel more of her. More of her touch. His eyes didn't leave hers even when she averted her gaze to linger elsewhere. She called him a big boy, telling him not to give her the time to change her mind. He realized now, that he hardly wanted that.
The physical attraction he felt for her, as well as the comfort of their conversation was starting to transform into a need. A want. A burning desire. With their close proximities, and her body language and verbal encouragement that convinced him she was quite alright with this . . . he finally reacted. "I'm hardly a boy," he said with the same teasing tone, playfully rejecting the joking word that made him sound younger than he was. Immediately after he spoke he leaned forward, closing the distance between them as their lips touched. The kiss was heated, letting out the built up tension between them. His hand went to her waist, wrapping his arm around her as he pulled her close to him while his other hand went to the back of her head. He pressed her body against his, only adding to the incredible sensation of the moment as he coaxed her mouth open with his own to deepen the kiss.

❅AI GONPLEI❅ Isa had no doubt that he was not a boy, especially with the heated way he kissed her. There was no easing into it, no testing the waters, and she was perfectly alright with that. She had never really been the shy sort when it came to this kind of thing. She allowed him to draw her closer and opened her mouth. The kiss deepened and her desire spiked.
She pressed her body against his, enjoying the heat and firmness of his body. As her tongue slipped out to meet his, her hands slowly over his clothed chest. Up and then back down, moving low to hook her fingertips on the waist of his pants and tug his hips closer to hers.
Once content with the closeness she loosened hold on his pants and redirected her hands to slip them up and underneath his shirt. She moved her hands over his chest and to his back before dragging her nails lightly over the flesh in teasing anticipation.
Yup, definitely not a boy.

whatever THE HELL WE WANT Despite their flirtatious teasing, he knew that this was a risk. That kissing her could have two outcomes. The one that occured was far more favorable than the other. She responded to the kiss, allowing him to deepen it, her lips parting to give him ease of access. The way her body was pressed against her, filled his own with warmth and a building desire that would soon turn into an ache . . . especially when her hand went to the top of his pants to pull him closer.
His hand went to the back of her head, pressing her against him, tangling in her locks, the pleasurable sensation of her hands moving over his skin and nails raking his chest, expressed in the way he intensified the kiss. He wanted her, badly. Keeping the contact of their lips, he took a few steps forward, causing her to move back until her back was pressed against the wall. His hands then went to either side of her waist, slightly lifting her up so that she could wrap her legs around his own waist. The pressure causing by this caused him to let out a heavy exhalation of breath admist their kiss, needing to tend to that aching desire that she was causing to course through him.

❅AI GONPLEI❅ Her breath caught in her throat when her back touched the wall and he lifted her. The desire coursing through her amped up even further as she wrapped her legs around his waist. There were a few things that got the icy woman riled up, and being picked up and pinned to a wall was certainly on the list. So was the feel of hot, sculpted abs which she had delighted in feeling beneath his skirt.
That and the exhalation from the male. Knowing the effect she had on him was intensely enjoyable. Her hands moved over his chest and to his shoulders, digging her nails in slightly as she rolled her hips against his. At the same time her kiss became more heated and she nipped his lips. It should be very clear to him that she was enjoying herself and the direction in which things were going.
Yup. Definitely not a boy. Definitely a man and a damn hot one as well.

whatever THE HELL WE WANT Bellamy could feel more than see the signs of her own enjoyment; the pleasure and potential pleasure that could be derived from their actions. Right now, it was not about being a Grounder and Arker. It was two people, succumbing to the strong lust they felt for one another. And why not? What the hell was stopping them? As she rolled her hips against him, he reacted through their joined lips, deepening the kiss even more, his fingers pressing into the thighs, inwardly cursing at the fabric that created a barrier from being able to touch her skin.
The way her nails dug into him, the way her teeth nipped at him . . . he wanted more. So much more. Relying on her keeping her legs wrapped around him, his hands hastily went to her center, starting to remove the garment that concealed it. Despite his unfamiliarity with Grounder clothing, it wasn't difficult for him to navigate himself around it. Her's was especially different -- having been from a different clan he imagined -- but there was no indication of struggle.
Instead, he was able to open it up with ease, pulling down the lower layer of her clothing just below her hips, as his fingers gently moved over her core for a few moments, before he moved his hands to work on the fastening to his own pants. He didn't want to waste a moment. They didn't need any more build up. Right now, there was just a desperate, heated need to find that satisfaction and that peak of euphoria.
