THE HELL WE WANT
Bellamy was currently sitting at thet able of his 'shared' bedroom with his . . . 'wife'. The world was still so, unfamiliar. Unexplored. Family was everything to Bellamy, but their roles as spouse was only to solidify a truce. There was nothing intimate about their relationship. Nothing deeply emotional. It was a struggle to accept that this was who he was committed to . . . and yet, that was exactly what he was. Committed. Hell, he hadn't even been with anyone else since marrying Ontari. Fidelity was important to Bellamy, and despite the . . . unique circumstances, he still hadn't been able to indulge his needs with anyone else.
It left him even more frustrated. But currently, he was looking at a couple of bottles of wine that his people had made and sent over as a gift. Bellamy wasn't a heavy drinker, for reasons that always involved the fear of compromising other people's safety if he was not alert, and thus, unable to protect them. Right now however, a drink seemed pretty damn tempting. He poured himself a cup and took a sip, making a bit of a face but it went down easy enough.
As soon as he swallowed, the door to the room was open and Bellamy didn't have to look in the direction to know who it was. "My people sent us a gift" he explained, still unable to define his people as their people. In his mind, there was still that line even though they were all peacefully coexisting. he took another sip before continuing. "Want some?" He offered, finally turning his head to look at her . . . though wasn't entirely certain she would accept. Still. The gift was for both of them so he had to at least offer.
