AI GADA KLIRNES IN Sitting out in the harsh sun, Nuala felt a lot more comfortable than she had inside the rig. The walls and the seemingly never-ending darkness of it left her feeling like she was trapped. So she sat outside, against railings just watching people as they walked around, going about their work. No one really seemed to notice her much but when they did and they came too close to her, she cringed back automatically, her body unable to understand that this place was safe. It had only been a few days since Nuala arrived on the rig. A few days since she had finally come to a place of safety after her parents were killed back in Azgeda. Nuala didn't know how long it had been since that mournful day. It could have been a week. Two. For all she knew, it could have been a year. She hadn't even tried to keep track of the days, all she had done was try to stay alive. With that, she still couldn't quite feel safe. When you spent so long in constant danger, how long did it take to accept safety yet again? Nuala hoped it might happen sooner rather than later. She missed feeling safe and she missed her parents but... feeling safe was the one that she could have again. When she saw Luna walking by, no idea whether the woman was planning to come see her or just in the area by accident, Nuala made the split decision to make her presence known. "Hi Luna." While Luna had done nothing to even suggest harm, Nuala had made a point to avoid her for the few days since she had arrived. Having been one of the first people she saw when she arrived on the rig, shaken and scared, Nuala had found herself cringing even at the sight of her. No real reason behind it. Now, though, now Nuala wanted to be nice. She wanted to thank Luna for the safety she had offered, even if it was taking Nuala more than a little trouble to adjust.
