Letting the people vote had been a good idea, yet she hadn't expected them to vote for Charles Pike. Abby supposed that it should not be much of a surprise considering what her and Kane had been doing. This was not the Ark; keeping everything from the citizens wasn't was important here as it had been up there. They should have been more open, it's what Jake would have done wouldn't it? She sighed, trying not to let the situation depress her. They made their beds, now they must lie in it.
What she hadn't expected was for Pike to gather up some of the Arkers to go massacre the army sent by Commander Lexa. The retaliation for the murder was not something that Abby wanted to witness. Finn had killed eighteen and he'd been sentenced to die. What would Arkadia suffer for the three hundred deaths? She watched them walk in, blood staining their clothing and she scanned for any injuries - of which she saw none. Abby couldn't understand how they could go and slaughter three hundred warriors and not have a single scratch on them.
"Bellamy." Abby strode towards him, uncaring of the others that followed, her eyes locked onto him and though she saw no wounds, that didn't mean there wasn't any. "Can we talk?" Abby knew he would get enough flak for what had happened and she wasn't interested in adding to it all. All she wanted to know was what was going on in his mind and she hoped like hell he understood the consequences of his and the others actions. Commander Lexa was not going to take the news sitting still and they were all in danger because of it. She really hoped he knew and understood. Bellamy Blake

Tag: @abbygriffin whatever THE HELL WE WANT Things had taken a drastic turn at Arkadia. Pike was now Chancellor and . . . well, Bellamy was relieved for it. He was displeased. Displeased with Kane, Abby and Clarke for committing their people to a coalition, under the leadership of Lexa -- a woman who betrayed them. Someone who left them for dead. He was displeased that Kane referred to their people who had died in Mount Weather as 'collateral damage', dismissing their deaths to what, appease the grounders? He was displeased that the existence of an army surrounding them was kept from all of them, with the exception of three people -- one of which was Clarke who wasn't even here. And, most of all, he was displeased that he had trusted Echo, only to be betrayed by her resulting in the loss of so many people . . . including Gena. She was dead, they all were, because of his naivety. Because, despite the Grounders betraying them over and over again, he trusted her.
For whatever reason. And everyone had paid the price. What was it Pike had said? Never again. And Bellamy emphatically agreed with those words. It was why he supported Pike in his campaign. The people didn't want to be Grounder bitches anymore; hence the reason Pike won. They needed to eliminate the army, before they eliminated them. They had betrayed them before, and history showed that they were more likely to do that rather than protect the Arkers. The anger toward them was strong . . . but even still, Bellamy knew that they had gone too far. He could understand Pike's logic of not leaving survivors -- though Bellamy had managed to convince him to leave at least one alive, Indra . . . but it still didn't make Bellamy feel great. It was just more blood on his hands.
Once they returned, everyone was getting freshened up. Octavia had demanded to know what he had done, but Bellamy gave only a laconic response, entering the fallen Ark after Pike delivered his speech. They had gone too far, and these were just more images that would haunt Bellamy had night. But alas. They were at war with the Grounders. It had to be done. Bellamy paused when Abby approached him. He wasn't sure what expression was on his face, but he knew he felt . . . unsettled, being in her presence.
Because he respected her, and he knew that this, was not exactly what she had wanted. It hadn't been enough to stop him, but he knew the conversation would follow. And he had to brace himself for it. Bellamy gave a short nod, casting one final glance toward Pike before turning his gaze back to Abby. He followed her into a more private area, knowing that it would be best to speak without wandering eyes and listening ears. Bellamy just silently looked at her, swallowing, feeling rather . . . exposed with the blood that stained his vest. The blood of 299 Grounders.
