NO! NO! NO! YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND! (I MEAN, YOU DO!!!)!! For 2 seasons we have watched Bellamy live and almost die for EVERYONE ELSE!! His whole life was protect O, Protect the 100, save the 48, find Clarke, Save Finn, (KEEP GOING)!!! He never stopped, he just went and went and went! He couldn't stop to get attached, he couldn't open himself up to others because of his secrets! WHY did we see no friends of his from the Ark--because there wasn't any. Why did we see no girls missing him--because there wasn't! He was an island that forever could only move forward, and had to only think about what was before him, and save the ones looking to him: O, the kids, the grounders even.
THEN! EFFING THEN!!!
He has done it! Everything he had worked for his whole life (O being safe) and the past few months of hell--He's done it! It's his turn now! He gets to find someone to love him for him. Who he is not trying to save. Who he is not trying to keep safe. Because they are safe, they are working toward building something. She is softer in a world that has done nothing but test him and try to break him. She helps him no loose himself in the hell that is killing 600 + people, and having the one person he trusted leave him to deal with it alone! He is not alone--he's found sanctuary.
THIS! This is the reason I am excited! THIS is the reason I want to see this! Because 23 / 24 years of fighting and protecting and serving others---he has something for him. He has someone who says 'come back safe' rather then 'people are counting on you'. He has someone that is there for HIM, not has to be there. Someone who shares the nights he can't sleep with.
He doesn't have to be the island any more.

MAN DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON ANALYZING THIS!!! I LOVE YOUR POST Roma Bragg !!! After I finished season 2, THIS is what I wanted for Bellamy. To allow himself to LOVE and BE LOVEd. To have ethat emotional connection with someone. To find his safe haven. His WHOLE life has been about protecting other people. NOW he has someone to be there WITH him. I have done SO MANY analyses on post MW Bellamy and it was why I LOVE exploring him having relationships after this time! He is vulnerable, he is heartbroken and guilt ridden for what he did. He is haunted. He feels that void with Clarke leaving him. There are just SO MANY THINGS that make the timing for him to be with someone PERFECT. WORDS CANNOT DESCRIBE how EXCITED I am for this to happen!! The fact that they were so tight lipped about it though . . . like what IS is about Gena?! Why this girl? What pulled him toward her? What made her THE ONE that he wants to be in a relationship with?! SO MANY QUESTIONS!! i'll stop analzying Bell now but SERIOUSLY! This is a PIVOTAL relationship for him and I am ecstatic to see where it goes and how its played out!! This spoiler BETTER BE RIGHT! If its gets disproved, I will NOT be happy!!!

I just!!! UGH!!!! I just think that after YEARS of working hard to protect EVERYONE that he has become very solitaire! I want to see him open up! I want to see that growth! I want to know what about her made it easier for him to do this with! I want to see the bad ass solider and the sweet girl trope!!! She might not be a sweet girl, but that trope has been my fav since FOREVER! I NEED IT LIKE I NEED AIR!!!!!!!!!

I wish they could leave cherry1 alone! My thing is, I feel like they don't know what to really do with her in a post Finn plot, and because of that (and because they like her enough to want to keep her forefront in plots) they abuse her to give her 'strength building'. Instead they are making her seemed abused, and with none of the other characters really rallying behind her it's not evening giving us anything to sooth the abuse. She was seen close to Gena in the clip--Gena might die in ep 3. She got close to Kyle--Wick might die coming up too because of the actor. It's getting to the point I wish they'd just make her go back to exploding things, and not be this victim. She is a BAMF!! LET HER BE THAT!
