Tag: @severitysoftly whatever THE HELL WE WANT Bellamy could whole heartedly agree with that. The shower had been incredible, and while it reached its inevitable end, he was already looking forward to the next time it would happen. It no longer had to be a question of 'what if' or 'maybes'. They were together. And he knew that neither of them was going to take this relationship lightly. It was a solid commitment, and Bellamy wouldn't wait to fully explore that with each day that came and passed. Enjoying the nibble on his ear, he moved out of the shower with Jackson, the warmth of their bodies providing him with enough that he didn't even care aboout immediately grabbing a towel. Instead, he returned the kiss, his hand running over Jackson's back until he pulled away, and brought attention to the mark on the back of his neck.
It only caused Bellamy to give a small smile, unphased by it. And not wanting Jackson to feel apologetic for it. "Don't be," Bellamy assured him, leaning forward for another deep kiss. Bellamy reached for the towel, draping it around Jackson's shoulders as he eased out of the kiss and smiled. "It felt good," he added on, his hands on the towel moving over Jackson's body to start drying him off. His tongue ran over his lips as he just looked at his partner with soft intent, the smile still remaining on his lips. "Hell, you can do it harder next time if you want," he added on as a tease, though wanted him to know that he was his completely. That Bellamy trusted him with his body, mind, heart and soul.

Jackson was at first mildly confused by the smile on Bellamy's lips, but then Bellamy was assuring him he didn't need to feel sorry and kissing him. he actually chuckled lightly as Bellamy started to dry him, telling him he could bite harder. "You like a little pain?" he asked, his tone teasing, though he was curious. They hadn't ever talked about what they liked and didn't like in bed. So far, neither of them had had any complaints, as far as Jackson knew, but it was interesting. "I would imagine I'd be pretty pain-averse if I did what you do. What you've done," he added. Bellamy had been put through a lot of physical pain on Earth. He'd felt guilty upon seeing the mark he'd left on Bellamy's back in part because he never wanted to be someone who would hurt Bellamy any more than he had been. He kissed along Bellamy's jaw as Bellamy worked the towel over him, vaguely feeling like Bellamy was spoiling him with his attention, his hands resting against Bellamy's hips. Tag: Bellamy Blake

Tag: @severitysoftly whatever THE HELL WE WANT Bellamy was glad that Jackson's lips were on his jaw, for the slightly younger male's smile faded upon hearing Jackson's comment. Not that there was anything wrong with it. But Bellamy was ashamed of his body. Ashamed of the marks on him and what they represented; every single one hold some sort of significance. He often wondered if that was why Octavia had primarily stuck his face. To mark him. Scar him. To serve as a reminder to her, himself, and everyone else, that he had been responsible for Lincoln's death. Marks that he couldn't cover. Visible to all the world, as if airing his misdeeds and crimes. She had told him that she couldn't even look at him without thinking of Lincoln's death . . . so perhaps part of it had also been to leave him unrecognizable. So that she wouldn't have to see that man. So that she could mask the monster that he was, creating that mask with blood, cuts, and bruises. Scars.
Bellamy closed his eyes, clenching his jaw as he fought back the emotion. "Every mark on my body is a reminder of what I've done. Of who I've killed. Of death." And he was ashamed of it. The ones on his face impossible to cover, and what made it equally impossible for him to look at himself in the mirror. "But this one . . . " The one that Jackson left on the back of his neck. The one that Bellamy's hand absently went to touch, as if reminding himself of it. "Reminds me of what it is to be alive." Because thats what Jackson did for him. Bellamy couldn't equate someone he deeply cared for with trust. It didn't just have to do with trust. He had trusted Octavia. Trusted Clarke. Trusted Kane. No, this was more than that. Because Jackson had said to him what no one else had. And that, was what made Bellamy feel alive, with every word, and touch that Jackson grace him with.

Jackson listened thoughtfully as Bellamy spoke, his chest aching at what Bellamy was saying. He hated the idea that Bellamy had so many painful reminders on his body that he would never be able to wash away. He hummed thoughtfully when Bellamy finished, pressing his lips to Bellamy's neck. "If I could leave enough of those that the other marks didn't matter, I would," he murmured, then pulled back and took the towel from Bellamy. He gave Bellamy a sympathetic look and started to dry his back and shoulders, leaning in to place a kiss against one of the marks Octavia had left on his cheek. He new it wouldn't make it better, but he wanted to express to Bellamy somehow that his scars didn't define him, they didn't make him ugly, inside or out. Jackson didn't approve of everything he knew Bellamy had done, but he understood the circumstances that had lead to those decisions, so he was able to make peace with them. Tag: Bellamy Blake

Tag: @severitysoftly whatever THE HELL WE WANT Bellamy truly appreciated Jackson's words, the mere thought alone meaning more to Bellamy than he could express. He knew he deserved those reminders, that it was his burden; his ghosts that haunted him. He shouldn't ever be absolved of that. But if he spoke of being undeserving of this . . . then he knew Jackson would return the same feeling. And he didn't want to remind either of them of that. What mattered was that Bellamy believed Jackson deserved to be happy, and vice versa. They wanted the best for each other, rather than themselves. And it was a beautiful thing.
Bellamy closed his eyes once more, basking in the comfort that the doctor's lips brought to one of his injuries inflicted on him by Octavia. Bellamy's hand ran up the back of Jackson's head, trying his still wet locks. "Something to work towards," he said teasingly, jokingly, in reference to Jackson commenting on leaving enough of those marks to take down the significance of others. He didn't want to ruin the moment with his own insecurities and self loathing, aware that it was not the intent of Jackson's comment.
Leaning to kiss the doctor once more, Bellamy started to move them out of the bathroom, so that they could get more comfortable, not even caring if he was fully dry or not. He ran his hands through his hair, shaking out a bit of the water and purposely causing it to splatter on Jackson's face as he drew back from the kiss and smirked a little. "One of us is gonna need to get dressed and get dinner," he told him, wanting to make sure Jackson ate properly.

Jackson was relieved when Bellamy smiled again, even if it did come with the splatter of water across Jackson's face. He flinched, then wiped his hand over his face laughing softly before kissing Bellamy again. "Not it," he said with a faint smirk, pulling Bellamy close again. He couldn't seem to ever keep his hands off Bellamy when they were alone before, but now he was allowed to want to touch Bellamy all the time. He kissed Bellamy again deeply, then pulled away, giving Bellamy a mischievous grin as he backed toward the bed and got in, pulling the covers up to his waist. Tag: Bellamy Blake Note: 200TH POST!

Tag: @severitysoftly whatever THE HELL WE WANT Bellamy quite enjoyed the sound of Jackson's laugh. So full of life. So jovial. And knowing that he was able to draw that kind of amusement from him . . . made it all the more wonderful. He returned the kiss, watching Jackson as he went toward the bed and covered his lower body with the blanket. Bellamy slightly raised an eyebrow, looking at him for a few more moments before he turned to walk toward Jackson's clothes. Not the heap of their dirt stained clothes that lay on the ground. But the cleaner clothes that Jackson had.
He quickly pulled on the pants and shirt, rather doing this than being counter -productive with their shower and dirtying himself again. That, and it was all the more fun to tease him with. Once he was dressed, Bellamy sat on the edge of the bed and started to pull on his shoes. He half turned his body when he was done to look at his partner. "Don't fall asleep on me," he teased him. "Maybe I should make sure though." Another playful tease. He leaned down to deeply kiss Jackson, one hand snaking under the covers and starting to stroke over his cock, in long, drawn out motions before picking up the pace . . . and then abruptly stopping and swiftly rising to his feet.
Casting him a final smirk, Bellamy picked up his pile of clothes, and headed out the door, clothing it behind him. The first stop he needed to make was to his own room, and fortunately, he was able to do so without detection. He didn't feel like explaining to others why he was in these clothes, nor having to carry out a task that someone required of him. Once he arrived in his room, he changed out of Jackson's clothes and put his own clean set on, folding his partner's and putting them in a pack.
He debated leaving Jackson's clothes in his room, but knowing the resourceful male, he would just take his and that would leave Bellamy in a spot. Once that was done, he went to get them dinner. It fortunately didn't take too long, casually saying that he needed two meals, and it wasn't further questioned. Bellamy didn't often have to worry about that. With two meals, a couple drinks and a pack of Jackson's clothes, Bellamy head back toward the doctor's apartment, giving it a light knock in warning before opening the door and stepping inside.

Jackson more than appreciated the sight of Bellamy wearing his clothes. With them being the same height, they actually fit Bellamy decently, even if they were barely too snug in a couple places. When Bellamy leaned down to kiss him, and started stroking him, Jackson moaned softly. His cock ached, feeling overworked, but it responded anyway... and then Bellamy abruptly got up and walked away. "Oh, God, float you," he complained, and threw a pillow at Bellamy, but missed. Once Bellamy was gone, Jackson padded across the room to get the pillow he'd thrown, and then tugged on a pair of clean boxers before getting back in bed. He let his new erection slowly fade on its own and reached for the book on the table by his bed to read a little while before Bellamy came back. He looked up, folding the book closed in his lap, as Bellamy came back in and locked the door behind him. "Oh, you changed," he teased. "I liked you in my clothes." He put his book back on the table and grinned at Bellamy. "Is it all over camp now?" If anyone saw Bellamy in Jackson's clothes, there would probably be talk. Jackson didn't think he minded anyone knowing Bellamy was taken. By him. And clearly Bellamy wasn't too worried, if he'd left Jackson's quarters like he did. Tag: Bellamy Blake

Tag: @severitysoftly whatever THE HELL WE WANT When Bellamy walked back in, Jackson was in his bed with a book. Reading was one of Bellamy's favorite passtimes, and one that he didn't get to do often. Gena had given him a book he'd had read to him when a child, and then read to Octavia. Every woman who was linked to that book now held painful memories. His mother. Gena. Octavia. He doubted he'd be able to open it again, but that didn't mean there weren't plenty of other books to read. He smiled in response to Jackson's words, setting the food on the side and taking out the clothes from the pack, neatly folding them and putting them back in their place. It felt . . . oddly domestic. And Bellamy quite enjoyed that feeling of this casual, homey dynamic that seemed to exist so easily between them.
"Yeah Kane is going to make a formal announcement about it tomorrow morning," he joked. "It'll be the talk of Arkadia." Another joke. Bellamy wasn't one to announce anything like that. The only person he may have told -- or could have taken notice -- was his sister, and well, that wasn't going to be happening any time soon. "Maybe I'll wear them again," he teased -- though had to admit, he wasn't entirely opposed to the idea. Taking the servings of food, he moved to sit on the edge of the bed next to Jackson, setting out the meals on the tray he had been given and putting it on the bed. He leaned forward to lightly kiss Jackson on the lips, just adding to the entire domestic feel that he'd already noticed. Maybe it was just him. Maybe it wasn't. "What are you reading?" He asked curiously, reaching for the drinks and setting them on the trays as well.

Jackson watched Bellamy move casually around the room, like he'd done this a million times before. It felt nice, almost cozy, in a way Jackson had never felt before. But instead of feeling awkward about it, like he might have before, Jackson was just letting himself enjoy it. He grinned at Bellamy's jokes, rolling his eyes slightly, and then accepted Bellamy's kiss. Part of him wished he'd allowed himself this ease before, but if he had, he might not be with Bellamy now. "Something Wicked This Way Comes by Bradbury," he answered, looking back at the book before starting in on his meal. "I read it as a kid in the orphanage. I remember loving it, but I've forgotten most of the plot since then." He shrugged. Jackson had mostly buried himself in study after his mother died, but the rare occasions he read non-fiction, it had helped him, letting him escape his reality for hours at a time. "When I saw it with the books they brought in from Mount Weather, I thought I should re-visit it. Haven't gotten far into it, though, with everything that's happened."Tag: Bellamy Blake

Tag: @severitysoftly whatever THE HELL WE WANT Bellamy listened to Jackson start to explain the signifigance of the book, appreciating his willingness to open up about it. Something else that Bellamy would never take for granted. "Reading is a luxury we don't always have," he stated, knowing what it felt like to not be able to just sit and read something. "I haven't read that one," he further admitted.
"At least you have a chance to finish it here. However long it may take." Bellamy hadn't known what the orphanages were like. When he was young, he'd often feared that Octavia would wind up there . . . but it didn't take long for the harsh reality to set in of what would happen if she was caught. "Do you have a favorite book?" Bellamy asked, before taking a bit of his food, curious to learn the basic things about Jackson. Simple things, yet . . . personal things at the same time.

Jackson chewed thoughtfully after Bellamy asked his question. "Hmm, good question," he said after a moment, taking another bite of his food to mull the question over a little longer. "I didn't read a lot or enjoyment on the Ark, not once I hit my teens. Getting accepted to apprentice to become a doctor was highly selective, so I studied a lot." Sometime he wondered if he would have been accepted had he not been in the orphanage. He wondered if some benevolent Ark-appointed supervisors of the children in the orphanage had noticed his dedication and pulled strings. If that was the case, they'd never made it known. "I liked science fiction as a kid, though," he said, smiling. "And I'd love to have a copy of Leaves of Grass," he added, making a face. It was poetry, and Jackson knew some people really disliked poetry, but Jackson liked a lot of it. "What about you?"Tag: Bellamy Blake

Tag: @severitysoftly whatever THE HELL WE WANT That made sense. Getting accepted into the medical program was not something easy ot quickly achieved. It did indeed require a lot of hard work, and it was easy to now see why Jackson had gotten in. Dedication. One of the many qualities he possessed and that was well reflected in his work ethic. "Poetry and science fiction," he said with a nod, taking in this newly learned information about his partner. "Good to know you have an appreciation for the literary arts," he said a bit teasingly, though he meant it. When he asked him about his favorite book, one that Bellamy had just recently thought about, he stalled for a brief moment by taking another bite of food, waiting until it was swallowed before he answered.
"Anything about Roman or Greek history and mythology," he began to explain. "I loved reading about that kind of stuff." He still did but, as Jackson said, time didn't always permit them to. "The Iliad and The Odyssey were a couple of my favorites." Books that he wouldn't be able to touch again for some time. It was almost as if they were somehow cursed. Or just perhaps the man who enjoyed them was the cursed one. Clearing his head from these things for the moment, he looked back at Jackson and offered a small smile. "There wasn't a copy of Leaves of Green in what came from Mount Weather?" He asked. They had gotten so many books from the facility, even able to start their own little mini library at Arkadia from it.

Jackson shook his head, chewing a bite of food. "If there was a copy, I either didn't see it, or someone got to it before me," he said after he swallowed. He wasn't sure he'd read the books Bellamy mentioned. He'd heard of them, of course, but couldn't recall anything about them. Jackson tilted his head to the side, watching Bellamy. "Why Homer? Why Roman and Greek stuff?" he asked honestly. He couldn't help but smile faintly. In spite of the connection they'd always seemed to have, this might be the first conversation they'd had about themselves, just asking questions and learning about each other. There was no place Jackson would rather be right now, but there was so much he didn't know about Bellamy. He wished they had the entire night to stay up and talk, but he knew that was wishful thinking. Tomorrow would come soon enough, with its own new set of responsibilities. Tag: Bellamy Blake

Tag: @severitysoftly whatever THE HELL WE WANT Bellamy made a mental note to check all their inventory thoroughly to see if there was any trace of that book that Jackson wanted. There wasn't much that he could give him, but any small thing like that . . . he wanted to at least try. When he asked his next question, Bellamy paused, his eyes falling back to the food. It wasn't that he didn't want to open up about his childhood. It just seemed more difficult to do now for not only was it filled with painful memories about his mother . . . the memories of Octavia were painful now as well considering his situation with her. At the same time, Bellamy wanted to be honest with Jackson. He wanted to open up. If there was any he could actually talk to at this point . . . it was him.
Besides, he'd told him about far more personal stuff than this he supposed. "My mother used to read it to me when I was a kid," he finally said. Though it was many years ago, he still remembered the nights that he would keep her up, despite her exhaustion, only to make her read the story over and over again. "I actually named Octavia after the Roman Emperor Augustus' sister," he revealed with a faint smile, thinking back to that moment that he held her for the first time. Promised her that nothing bad would happen to her. But once again, he needed to deal with reality, not live in the past. "Guess it was a family thing that we all liked history." Because Octavia had liked it too. Feeling the need to silence himself, he took another bite of the food.
