Charlotte smiled when he supported her with what she said about the grounders and what we can do about it. they didn't know much about the grounders at all but all she knew was that they were capable of killing and potentially wiping the delinquents out but with the right training they might actually have a chance. Charlotte was confident with the fact that the grounders were a complete threat, like they had no good in them what so ever. " what if the Ark comes down, then we would be safer " Charlotte said with a little hope. Though she slightly didn't want them to come to Earth, what would they do with the delinquents? Now that Charlotte was responsible for killing the Chancellors son what would he do if he found out?
" i kind of don't want them to though " she admitted quietly. Charlotte knew that the others probably wanted to see their families and some others, well most, didn't after what the Ark did. Everyone blamed the chancellor for them being here on the ground. She didn't really have anyone on the Ark to think about so she wasn't really looking forward to them arriving if they ever did. she had finished eating the food and felt more content now that she was not hungry anymore. Charlotte stretched her legs out in front of her after sitting with them for a while with arms wrapped around them.

whatever THE HELL WE WANT Bellamy didn't want the Ark to come down, which was why he had rallied the others to remove the bracelets -- which had worked for the most part. He knew that the second they came down here, he was a dead man. They were going to kill him for his crimes and . . . they were going to punish Charlotte to. Ironic. That Bellamy killed the Chancellor, and she his son. Together, they had ended the Jaha lineage.
"It's not safe for the Ark to come down." It wasn't safe for them, for her. "Let's hope they don't." Bellamy's family was Octavia. But, if they came . . . he wouldn't be able to stay. Who knows, maybe Charlotte could leave with him. "They'll enforce their laws on us. The same ones that got everyone else locked up." Despite them being pardoned. They had sent them down here to die ultimately . . . they were disposable. He looked at Charlotte, curious about something. "Do you have anyone up there?" He wondered.

Bellamy had a point, it wasn't safe for the Ark to come down to Earth. It wasn't even safe to go out into the forest or in her case the camp. They might not even come down ever anyway, Not after the removal of the bracelets. They treated the prisoners like they were lab rats or something. To be honest Charlotte hoped that they will never come down to Earth. Like Bellamy said, they will just arrive and straight away stomp all over them and treat them the ways like they were prisoners and she wouldn't really like to face Jaha, not after what she had done. Even if they did manage to make themselves at home on Earth Charlotte would have nowhere to go if she was going to avoid Jaha, she'd barley survive a day out in the woods by herself.
she moved her head to look at Bellamy after she snapped out of thought when Bellamy asked her if she had anyone back on the Ark. Looking back to face the ground where her feet were she simply replied " no " almost like she was disappointed. She wasn't though, it was more the fact like she was used to knowing that she had no one to really worry or think about. She saw it in a good way as it was just herself she had to worry about but it was bad in some cases. there was no one to at least act in her defense or what if she turned 18 on the Ark and it was the time to finally be floated just like her parents. No one would be there to at least share her final moments with and cry about it. " do you? " she asked back wondering the same. She learn't to just deal with the fact she was on her own while on the Ark, it's not like she really had anyone to socialize with so she just adapted to that.

whatever THE HELL WE WANT Charlotte confirmed that she didn't have anyone up there, and he looked intently at her, trying to see what it was he saw in her expression. The way she adverted her gaze made it clear that she had lost people up there. That she was alone. And . . . it made his heart ache for her. It made that soft spot he had for her, only strengthen. "Well hey," he began to say, slightly tilting his head toward her, and in front of her a little so that she would look at him. "Down here, you have me." He wasn't making himself sound like he was worth anything. He knew he wasn't after what he'd done on the Ark to his family.
But . . . he just wanted to assure her once again that she wasn't alone. And whatever happened, he wasn't going to abandon her. At this point, if the Ark somehow did manage to get down here, his and Charlotte's best chance was to leave. They wouldn't pardon him for killing the Chancellor, just like they wouldn't pardon her for killing the Chancellor's son. When she asked the question, Bellamy knew she deserved an honest answer. "No," keeping the emotion from his voice. "I came down for Octavia." Which was no secret, but he was merely re-emphasizing his motivations for coming down. And that she was all that he had left.

As Charlotte sat and listened to Bellamy say that she wasn't alone. She smiled at him when he said that. It was a great feeling knowing that she had someone to go to, despite the fact it wasn't really safe on the ground at this moment it was certainly better here than on the Ark. Bellamy felt more of a sort of big brother to her as well as a friend. Yes the ground wasn't really safe but at the same time it felt safer than being on the Ark. Having no one to talk to while just plainly being bored out of her mind and just thinking about the day when she would be floated. But on the ground at least she was in more or less control about things.
It was nice to hear that Bellamy came all this way to be with Octavia when he mentioned it in reply to her question. " i'm glad you came down " it was true. If Bellamy hadn't had came down to be with Octavia then things would have certainly ended differently around here. Murphy probably would have taken the role of leader instead and that would have easily go down a bad route. Bellamy was in the same boat when they both didn't have anybody on the Ark to think about. " what did you even do on the Ark? " she asked him out of curiosity. her life wasn't really that interesting. She never really remembered much about it apart from being in a cell and she knew that Bellamy wasn't a delinquent so what was normal life like up there ?
