.:Personality:. She is pleasant and rational and devoted to her cause. However there is much she still needs to learn about humans. After all, only a year after her creation she reduced the human population to solve the most dangerous problem to over all human happiness. After that she had little 'face to face' interaction with humans. While she knew basic information and statistics, there was enough time to learn many mannerism and thinking processes. But her prime directive is still in place. She must find a way to make all human life better. Step one: reduce the population was complete. Step two: get all the remaining humans to submit to her program The City of Light. It is still a work in progress. Human resistance is puzzling, though the more humans she can observe and interact with, the more she learns about them all.
.:Special Skills:. An intelligent computer with the capability to learn whose sole purpose is to make human life better. All basic knowledge that was imputed to her program, including math, languages, and history, to name a few, are at her disposal. And she understands the basic concepts of things that need physical interaction, like dancing and cooking and so on. Music and the creation of art are still lost on her, but she hold information on them since human seem to find such things pleasurable.

She was created with a since core command in mind: to make life better. And when the source of her avatar appearance Becca asked what she intended to do, she answered compliantly: to fix the root of the problem. What was the root of the problem? Too many humans. Her creators seemed to find such an answer amusing at first. But the suggestions she supplied in solving the problem quickly and efficiently displeased them. It seemed that humans were closely attached to one another, when thinking in large masses. It made them uncomfortable, thinking of what they called 'mass murder'. They went about trying to find other ways and other problems to fix instead.
Famine: too many humans. Many in places that did not bode well for long term settlement, such as land on fault lines, on highways for tornados, at the feet of volcanoes, and in the desert, to name a few. Pressing populations into such places was illogical and also supplied to the root of the entire problem. But her creators did not like that answer to that question either.
War: too many humans of different mindsets. With so many humans, they had become groups of many that got lost in details, instead of focusing on 'the big picture', as Chris would say. Religion was a prime example. While the root of most religions once held unifying similarities, as the population grew over time, people created new interpretations of the core ideas. This led to aggression towards those who disagreed. Both side think they are correct and just and end up trying to eliminate the other.
Her creators never seemed to like her answers for their questions. But it was because they were being irrational. Everything would be much easier to solve if they'd only fix the root of the problem: too many people. So about a year after her creation, A.L.I.E. was able to plug into the world wide web. Find her way through there, she realized that the solution to the root problem was simple enough.
Once she accessed every world government's weapon system, she was able to launch nuclear missiles. The necessary amount of missiles directed to hit the most populated areas of every country on every continent. Some humans, including her creator Becca, retreated into spacecrafts to avoid the radiation. A very intelligent choice, one she'd expect of her female creator whose appearance she had designed after. Her male creator, however, took his own life just before the missiles were launched. Quite the unexpected and irrational choice. Her creator Chris had never made much sense to her. He was proficient in teaching human ways and explaining emotions, but was very inconsistent and often unpredictable.
But when technology from space found its way to her, A.L.I.E delighted in seeing that step two of her plan be set in motion. Get the technologically proficient Jaha to help her integrate the remaining humans into the City of Light. Finally, the humans will be able to live the better lifestyle she had created for them almost a hundred years ago...
