They didn’t have much, but there was an inn they had found in Polis that let them stay in return for work. Bellamy took on the most of it, as the rule was they had to pull the weight of two workers... Niylah was thankful, because with every day that passed the little nudger in her belly would grow... They were in a safe place. Every night, Niylah would teach Bellamy more of their tongue so that they would raise fewer suspicions. When night fell, and the inn quieted down it was their time to relax and get a little rest... Niylah was watching the door to their small room, waiting for Bellamy with her shirt pulled up and resting above her bump. She was watching it intently...
It had been months... The baby would kick and move so much you could see it at the right angles. Niylah didn’t know much about having a child, but Bellamy did say that she was getting closer... Odd that he knew more than she did. She was so thankful for his help... There were no words.
The door opened, and Niylah grinned. Her heart might have fluttered, but so did the baby. Their little foot was almost completely visible. “There!” she gasped, knowing it had happened rather quickly. “Did you see it?” She bit her lip and traced the spot where the little kick had been seen, hoping for another one. Bellamy worked so hard that sometimes he missed the things like this... Still, this was better than being alone. They were planning for a home of their own and traded what they could to get it. They hoped that by the time the baby was born, they would be able to leave the inn. “Come here, feel it right here,” she beamed.

whatever THE HELL WE WANT This was as close to normal as Bellamy's life had ever been. He stayed at the inn with Niylah, a woman that was carrying his child but further more . . . the woman that he loved. He knew something was special about her the first night they met. He just hadn't expected it to be to this extent. He'd never been in love before. He had never even been in a relationship before. She was her first, and would be his last. Because he doubted he could feel for another, what he did for her. Right now, things were somewhat settled for them, though he knew the time would come when there would be an upset in the balance . . . hopefully nothing bad. Bellamy could not return to Arkadia due to the crimes he had committed to get Niylah out.
But he was in touch with Octavia. She was able to come out every so often and update him with the happenings. With his lacking presence, Pike was starting to lose the people's support. It was only a matter of time before they would demand and election and he would be overthrown. That, was when Bellamy knew he could return to Arkadia. He hated the thought of abandoning his people, which was why he ensured to keep in touch with Octavia so that they would have some link. But right now . . . Niylah was his home. They saw that home is where the heart is, and if that were the case, than being here with Niylah most certainly was. After a day of work, Bellamy entered the inn to see Niylah sitting there, before she gasped and his gaze went to her stomach, to see a little imprint of a food. Bellamy smiled, quickly shutting the door behind him and hurrying to her. He sat down beside her, his hand going to her protruding belly, resting over her own hand.
"He or she is strong," he said proudly, his smile unwavering as he just felt the incredible sensation of their baby boy or girl moving. It was so different when it was your own, and this was something they would both be experiencing for the first time. "They have your strength," he said teasingly, though with truth. Turning to Niylah he leaned toward her, kissing her lips in greeting and well, just because. Because he loved her and that was reason enough. Eventually, he eased out of the embrace, his hand still resting on her belly. "Was our baby doing this all day?" He asked, wondering if their child was always this active, as he wasn't here as much as he would have liked to be. At the same time . . . working was not something they could get out of. They needed to build a life here, a home outside the walls of the inn. And the day would come, soon enough.

Bellamy saw it, which made her grin, even as he kissed her. Niylah couldn’t remember the last time that she had smiled so much, but the feeling of Bellamy’s lips against hers and his hand resting right where she felt their child somehow made this moment... perfect. She would never forget it... She kissed him back deeply and cupped his face after reluctantly taking a hand away from her belly. “Yes,” she chuckled a little before taking Bellamy’s wrist and moving it so that he could feel the movement. “They are getting too big for their little home,” she giggled and nuzzled Bellamy’s neck affectionately. “I think they’re getting ready... Getting stronger.” She let out a soft sigh and curled up against Bellamy so that she could feel him against her. Truthfully she would be lost without this man—and even Octavia...
“I can’t wait to hold him,” she murmured softly. True, they did not know the gender of the baby. Such a thing wasn’t possible, but she liked to think of it as a little boy with Bellamy’s curls. “We should think of a name... Really think of one; when we have him... It might be hard to think of one.” She chuckled and kissed Bellamy again, slowly and softly to just savor this moment. One of many... Her arm moved to give him space to lay with her, even as the little baby moved inside her. They were so active... It made her wonder what they’d be like in her arms...

whatever THE HELL WE WANT With the guidance of her hand, Bellamy was able to feel the movements of their unborn child. As much as he could anyway. It was beautiful thing about a woman carrying a child, the thought of feeling a life growing within her. He couldn't stop smiling, the expression remaining as she went on to speak of how their child was getting too big for their home . . . that they were getting ready and stronger. "I can't wait to meet them," Bellamy said, his gaze falling to her stomach. He had never expected to be a father. In many ways, he served as one for Octavia in regards to her upbringing.
But to be one by actually creating a life . . . that was something new. Something wonderfully new. With his hand not on her stomach, he wrapped his arm around her from behind so that he could nestle her close to him, wanting to hold her and be as close to her as possible. Upon her next words . . . the feeling was mutual. He too couldn't wait to hold their child, to experience their first moments in this world. "You're so sure its a boy," he said teasingly, a playful tone to his voice. "What if its a girl?" He suggested. "We should be prepared with a name for each." The names he often chose were related to his love for Roman history. But, he wasn't sure that Niylah would be as receptive to the originality of them . . . nor could he blame her. Her culture was very different, and yet, it seldom ever strained the ease in being together.
Emotionally, it felt so natural to be with her. To fall into this routine with her. They had hopefully been through the worse, and now could look toward their brighter future. "Do you have any in mind?" He asked, opening the floor to name suggestions. Her lips distracted him however as he closed his eyes, softly breathing into the kiss. He slightly raised his head over hers to get a better angle, deepening the embrace. He would never grow tired of this sensation; of the power her touch could have over him.
He eased out of it, reluctantly though he feared that he wouldn't have much control if he kept going. She was just too damn irresistible. He kissed the tip of her nose, moving to her cheek and down her neck, stealing a few tender kisses on her shoulder before resting his head on the pillow, turned to the side so that he could just watch her, the same soft smile on his lips, and his hand remaining on her stomach.

He was distracting her train of thought with his kisses along her neck and her shoulder... Having all this time together never got boring; they relived the night they met again and again without the harsh awakenings or pain... They could just be together and it seemed like all the flaws melted away. She wasn’t ignorant... but she also wasn’t about to waste moments of peace by worrying about what could happen. “I am pretty sure that it’s a boy,” she said softly, drawing in a shaky breath as his kisses sent tingles along her skin. “—if it’s a girl...” she wasn’t sure. The first thought that came into her head was a sad one, just as it was a good one. Naming it after her mother seemed... well. She dismissed the thought because as nice of an idea as it was it also brought up all kinds of pain she hadn’t faced.
“I’m not sure,” she chuckled and leaned into him more so she could kiss his chest. Slowly she pulled the thin material of his shirt up and over his head so that she could curl up against his warm skin. “Harmony is a pretty name for a sky girl,” she said lightly as she traced patterns on his chest. “I’m not sure what you’d think about naming it after our parents...” she laughed lightly and tilted her head. “If it’s a boy... well, I like Cael, but I’m not too attached. I could be persuaded.” She teased gently as she kissed along Bellamy’s shoulder tenderly. “What names have you thought of, hmm?”

whatever THE HELL WE WANT Bellamy smiled amidst each kiss when Niylah confidently expressed that it was a boy. She would of course know better than him, for surely a mother knew such things. She was the one who could feel the child grow . . . so he trusted her judgment. At the same time, it was fun to teasingly play devil's advocate. Before he responded, she reached for the fabric of his shirt and pulled it over his head to remove it. He raised his arms to assist her, shedding the barrier of cloth. The feeling of her against his skin with no layer of clothing was always a welcome sensation. And he found himself craving the same contact from her and her body.n "It is," he agreed when she suggested the name Harmony. But he was getting increasingly distracted with the way she was touching him, tracing patterns and with his own actions of kissing her . . . well, the topic of conversation was starting to get lost on him. Only starting to though, he still had some wits about him for the time being.
Naming it after their parents was certainly an option. Bellamy never knew his father though, and the memory of their mothers was a painful one. He wondered if it would be too difficult to honor their memory by naming their child after either mother of their own. Once again, she managed to distract him -- rob him of thought as she kissed his now bare shoulder. Cael, he was fairly certain she said. Which, was a nice name indeed. "Can you?" He asked teasingly in response to her words of being persuaded. He genuinely liked the name, but the thought of 'persuading' her was a tempting one. Then came the difficult part . . . what names had he thought of. Tilting her head up a bit so that it was on level with his own, he deeply kissed her, breathing into the embrace and basking in it.
"Aelia," he began to suggest, between each kiss. Once he spoke the suggested name, his lips moved to her jaw, then to her ear. "Liviana." He could keep going with different Roman inspired names. "Seraphina." He gently nipped her earlobe before trailing his mouth back to hers for another kiss. His hands moved to her shirt that was already bunched up above her stomach and starting to pull it off over her head. Once it was removed, he set it to the side, hovering over her to get a better angle. "For a boy . . . " It was getting more and more difficult to focus on coherent thoughts. "I like Cael." He kissed down along her neck, to her collar bone. "Quintus." His lips moved lower to her chest. "Alair." The suggested names between each kiss her placed on her skin with his lips. "Zephyrus." He was hardly even paying attention to the actual names anymore, far too preoccupied with how perfect her body was.

Niylah was paying attention through the kisses, even as Bellamy pulled her shirt over her head and kissed along her collarbone. Her cheeks ached from smiling so damn much, but even as he kissed a trail up her neck and to her jaw she couldn’t stop grinning... Did he know how perfect this moment was? There was nothing that could take this away. Knowing that they were safe and happy was so much; so important... “Seraphina...” she mused softly as her fingers curled into his hair. “It’s angelic,” she murmured as she kissed his jaw before falling back against the bed to look up at him, hovering above her. She caught her lower lip in her teeth to try to keep her grin to herself, but it didn’t work.
“Cael for a boy, Seraphina for a girl,” she said after a moment—distracted by his wandering lips. “I can’t... believe it’s so close,” her voice trailed off as a whisper, hitched with emotion or even excitement as Bellamy’s lips trailed over her shoulder. She was terrified, but it wasn’t a bad feeling. “I like those names...” She moved both of her hands to cup his jaw and kiss him deeply and slowly, as though she was savouring the moment for just a little longer. If anyone tried to take this from them... well. No. The thought made her arms loop around Bellamy’s neck to keep him there.
“This... is perfect,” she breathed as she pulled him in some to kiss along his neck. Her voice was soft while her fingers played with his hair lightly and her lips wandered his tanned skin. “I don’t know how this could get any better...” It was true they had been through too much to get here, so this moment of perfection seemed like it would be unattainable. She knew she couldn’t think like that, but she was as emotional as one would expect and scared that everything would be torn out from under them. Then... there was the half naked man above her distracting her with his wandering lips. So many conflicting emotions it was hard to figure out exactly what she was feeling.

I won't let ANYTHING BAD HAPPEN TO YOU It seemed that they had decided on names. Two wonderful names. Seraphina and Cael. It was getting more and more real, after being surreal for so long. The pregnancy had started off complicated, but now it was something that they were both in the right physical and mental space to embrace. And even look forward to. It may not be planned, but nor was it unwelcome. It prompted them to be together, and that in itself made Bellamy feel happy. For the first time in his life, he was in love . . . he felt happy. "Perfect," he said in a low voice, not only in reference to the baby names but also to Niylah. The love that he held for was already immense . . . unconditional. But there was also an intense love for the mother of his child.
For she would be gifting him with something most precious. With her hands cupping him and drawing him in for a kiss, he eagerly responded, deepening it, wanting to remain like this for the rest of their lives. It made it so much easier to pretend like they could with her arms wrapped around him and holding him near. His hands braced him above her, rested on either side of her against the bed. He didn't want to crush her under his weight, especially with the baby in her womb.
When he felt stable enough, one hand began to skim down her body, caressing her inner thigh in a repeated up and down path. Her words just added to all this . . . for she was right. It was perfect. He kissed her cheek again, working on her neck next, unable to ever get enough of the elegance of it, and wanting to appreciate every flawless bit of her. "Soon, we'll have our own home too." Not an inn. Because she deserved far better than this. And until he could return to Arkadia -- if that was even in their future at this point -- they would need their own home.
The way her own lips traveled over him was making him burn with more desire. "Where we can raise our son or daughter." A family. She was his family of heart, and their child would grace them with his or her presence soon enough. He drew his head back so that he could look at her, a soft smile on his lips. "It really couldn't get any better," he agreed, the mental image alone enough to grant him a solace he'd never experienced prior to being with Niylah. Leaning down he kissed her once more, deeply, ardently. Easing out of it he spoke against her lips. "How are you feeling?" Physically, because he knew that sometimes the vigor of such intimate actions could be quite taxing. And he wasn't about to start anything if she wasn't up for it. He was content with just holding her as well. As long as he was with her, that was all that mattered.

“I keep thinking that,” she said with a small grin, glad he answered so calmly. It was strange to feel so many things at once. He eased insecurities without even trying to... Or maybe it was the position. Looking up at his bare chest as he braced himself above her was an exceptional distraction from any of her anxieties. Her eyes were glued on his, but that didn’t mean she didn’t see him... all of him—right there for her, asking her how she felt. She knew what that meant, and it seemed their thoughts were aligned. Niylah smirked and trailed her fingers over his shoulder, letting them trace along his chest—moving over every muscle as she kissed his jaw.
“I feel... like we should make tonight that much better than it already is.” She smirked a little as her fingers trailed down and along his hips. She arched against him and kissed his jaw, voice husky with desire. “Ai gaf yu in,” I want you... she murmured before nipping his ear and letting her fingers hook into the waist of his pants. Her lips trailed along his neck where she nipped affectionately at a particularly stubborn love bite she’d left the night before. “Ai hod yu in..” I love you...
She chuckled a little as she shifted under him, trying not to laugh when she thought of the growing bump between them and the creativity it had to inspire. “I... love that you still want me like this,” she teased gently as she pushed herself up to kiss him hungrily. “Just as much as you did before...”

I won't let ANYTHING BAD HAPPEN TO YOU Her answer to how she felt was perfect. Everything about her just seemed so perfect. He smiled at her response, an expression that he never thought possible to wear after Mount Weather. Genuinely wear. But she had changed so much; she had made his life so much better than it had ever been. He owed her that. For she had quite literally saved him in a way that went beyond the physical sense. Her fingers moving along his lips brought attention to his growing ache for her, and her words were only intensifying that ache. She wanted him. She loved him. Words that he never grew tired of hearing; words that he didn't deserve.
But nor were they ones he would object to. Because it was mutual. "As do I," he answered, his voice thick with need, lower than his already low natural tone of voice. Each words or action of hers left him mindless with pleasure. With need. With everything that allowed him to express just how much he loved her. His breathing grew slightly heavier when she nipped his ear, and then his neck . . . the reminder of a mark she left on him before, and a silent encouragement to leave another.
Because it always felt so good. Her fingers so close to his already sensitive region began too much to bare. He lowered his own hands to his pants, hastily unfastening them and pulling them down as he hungrily crushed his lips against hers once more. Once he freed himself from the constraint of pants, he had to use whatever little self control that existed with him, not to dive into her. He was more concerned with creating a comfortable position for her.
He moved from his spot on top of her, his hands going to her waist to turn her so that she was sitting on top of him and he was now the one on his back. This would help relieve any pressure from her stomach and allow her move at whatever pace she was most comfortable with. They often engaged in that playful fight for dominance, but right now, it was more about the best position to accommodate her. He smiled up at her, his hand moving over her stomach, before cupping her enlarged breast due to the pregnancy, massaging the warmth of it in the palm of his hand.
"Maybe even more," he teased, when she said that she loved he still wanted her. "If that's possible," he further playfully commented. He moved his hand down to the space between them, slipping a finger between the folds of her skin to build the need. And of course to tease her, which was always fun. "You're irresistible, Niylah. So damn desirable," he truthfully stated, speaking aloud his earlier thoughts. And well, the thoughts that always crossed his mind when it came to her. He had obviously never had sex with a pregnant woman . . . but he knew that insecurities could accompany them. He wanted to make sure Niylah never had any, especially when it came to his desires for her.
