| TRY NOT TO RUN FROM THIS FREEDOM ALWAYS HAS A PRICE TO PAY |
Niylah let out a groan of pleasure at the feeling of Bellamy’s finally thrust—working every inch of himself inside of her before reaching his peak. She pressed against him, enjoying the bliss of the moment and the feeling of his chest against hers. They were as close as two could ever really be and that moment never faded. As he laid back, she didn’t think he would take her with him. Intimacy wasn’t... non-existent when it came to her people, but she had never been held like this... She’d never been pressed so close against anyone’s chest or felt arms around her like this... she couldn’t help nuzzling into the crook of his neck and staying right there, pressed against him... There was nothing like it—and she couldn’t bring herself to break away.
She kissed his shoulder, his chest and when he kissed her it was intense... but soft and smoldering. Niylah relaxed against his chest, making no moves as she drew out the deep kiss. This was what it felt like to be truly close. The desperation was satisfied and now she just... needed to enjoy it. Even the wind seemed to calm as her heart slowed... Nothing could take this peaceful feeling away. She couldn’t even bring herself to come up with a playful remark... Instead she curled closer against him—as if it were possible. She reached up and ran her fingers softly through his hair while the other rested along his shoulder.
“Thank you,” she mumbled against his skin after minutes of silence. She didn’t mean for the sex, though she was certainly grateful for that—but she meant for this distraction... it felt like more than that now though—laying here against him. It felt real. She didn’t want to move... she did though, after what felt like ages... Though at the same time it felt like no time had passed at all. Slowly, she moved to the side, slipping off of him before momentarily looking for her shirt... things like this seemed too good to be true, but the moment she wasn’t touching him the room felt colder. She grabbed the blanket instead and pulled it up and over them before laying back down... she was barely inches away from him, but being used to the harshness that she was it was easy to assume that it was what he wanted. Her eyes flashed up to him a little nervously... not sure if he felt the same urges and needs that she did. E

whatever THE HELL WE WANT This was the closest that Bellamy had ever been to finding peace. A safe haven. And who would have thought that he would find it in the arms of a Grounder. But then, that wasn't even how he saw her. She right now, was a woman. One that had tried to give him peace of mind, and even succeeded more than anyone else had . . . otherwise he wouldn't feel so relaxed in the aftermath of their coupling. It was her kind hearted nature that made it all the more powerful. Her kisses, her fingers through his hair . . . it all felt so wonderful.
When she thanked him, a small, soft smile formed on his lips. "I should be thanking you," he said, almost teasingly but with the utmost truth. She had given him a hell of a lot more than he had given her. Everything about this moment felt right. It was as if she was some sort of wonderful anesthesia; numbing any physical pain from his injuries but more importantly, numbing the inner pain that he perpetually felt.
He felt her begin to shift and he reluctantly lowered his hold of her, his eyes following her as she seemed to be looking for something. He would have asked, but it only took a few moments before she pulled the blanket over them, separating herself from him only by a few inches but it was too much. The feeling of being withdrawn from her, their bodies no longer joined . . . it was a distance he didn't think he could bare right now. Was it her comfort level though? He looked at the emotion behind her eyes, and could have sworn he saw almost a nervousness there. Her warmth was better than what any blanket could serve as. And truth be told, holding a woman after such activities was . . . well, to him, important. He wanted that contact.
The one time he hadn't, was when Raven and he had engaged in physical intimacy but then . . . it had just been a rebound. No emotions attached. But right now, didn't feel so quick or hurried. And he wanted to make sure she knew that, hoping that his gut wasn't telling him the wrong thing that perhaps . . . she didn't pull away because she wanted to. He turned his body to the side, his hand brushing back her hair from her cheek as he leaned forward to gently kiss her forehead. Letting it linger there tenderly, he then moved his lips lower to her cheek, trailing down the side of her neck, a path of soft, touches with his lips. He was taking his time, as that initial desperate urge was satisfied. More than satisfied really.
He continued downward in a path that led to her collar bone, his hand starting to lower the blanket that covered her shoulder so that he could place light kisses alone there as well. In between each kiss, he spoke in a low voice, thick with sincerity. "You are so damn beautiful." Her beauty surpassed the mere physical. So many women were physically beautiful. It was an inner beauty that was more rare to find. Maybe because he had never allowed himself to. Maybe because no one had bothered enough with him. He didn't know what it was, nor did he wish to dwell on it. For this moment, he had found such a woman and he wanted to know that she was beautiful, and feel it as well.

Bellamy’s hands in her hair made her relax against the touch and roll so that she was facing him. Unconsciously, her arm moved to rest over his chest while he kissed her forehead. Nobody had ever been so soft and intimate with her... ever. She didn’t know what this felt like, but with ever kiss she inched closer once again. Niylah smiled when he called her beautiful and cupped his face with her hands. She kissed him once, softly for a quick moment before murmuring softly. “Yu laik ai meizen lukot,” she said before kissing his jaw. Each word was spoken in a whisper between kisses, trailing up to his ear. “You are my beautiful friend,” she purred before nuzzling close and tightening the blankets around them. The nightmare was so far gone... there was only this moment.
His heartbeat slowed and so did hers... but the inches melted away with every one of his touches. She curled up next to him now and rested her head on his chest while her fingers traced idle patterns along the curves of each muscle. She was tired... but this feeling was something to be savored. In the morning, he’d have to leave... He’d need to return to the Skaikru camp and that was okay, but she was scared she’d never get to see him again after that. Attachment was a bitch...
“Bellamy,” she murmured softly—purring his name as she looked up at him from her place against his chest. “I will see you again, won’t I?” the question was quiet and her eyes were filled with understanding as she prepared for the answer. It seemed silly, but this didn’t feel like something that only one night could contain. She couldn’t be the only one who felt the spark.

whatever THE HELL WE WANT Who knew Grounder talk could sound so sexy. It was usually just Octavia and Lincoln who were teaching it to him. But hearing Niylah speaking Trigedasleng like this . . . was quite attractive. And gave him a whole new appreciation for the language. He didn't pick up on all the words she said, but she whispered the translation in his ear, causing a soft, small smile to form on his lips. He hardly agreed, but he wasn't going to argue. The fact that she thought so of him, felt honoring. With her nestled against his chest, he had one arm wrapped around her, his thumb gently caressing her bare upper arm as he just took in their steady breathing.
The euphoria from the aftermath hadn't quite ended yet. He doubted it would. Right now, he felt utterly content. Calm. And her question almost made him fearful of having to face reality again without the sensation of holding her in his arms. He avoided her gaze for a few moments, before his eyes met hers, seeing the emotion behind her look. He leaned toward her, lightly kissing her lips once more, unable to ever do so enough. There was however, one phrase that he had learned in the language of her people. One that he wished to use now.
"Mebi oso na hit choda op nodotaim." May we meet again. A phrase used by his people when parting with another, yet he wasn't sure how much of it was lost in translation. The soft smile returned on his lips as he just gazed at her. "I hope so." Because he wanted to see her again. He felt like he needed to see her again. Surely, this wasn't the end of this. He didn't want it to be. The way she posed the question indicated that the desire was mutual. But then . . . would it be too selfish to allow himself this with her? What if he hurt her, like he hurt all the others that he cared about. He forced back his deep seated insecurities. He didn't want to deal with it, not tonight. He just wanted to lay here with her, and continue to bask in this moment.
