THE HELL WE WANT
TThey had made it back to the rover but still had a significant ways to go before they were back at Arkadia. Bellamy was sitting with Marcus, in a half laid back position while Monty and his mother were up front, and Pike was in the back ensuring that they were followed and able to take the necessary shots to bring down anyone who threatened them. Bellamy was just focusing on taking deep breaths from the pain of his wound. Roan had strategically stabbed him, enough to cause damage and severe blood loss . . . which Bellamy had only made worse through his attempt to follow him. The physical pain was however numbed by the internal pain over realizing his failure in saving Clarke. He had been so damn close, and he hadn't been able to bring her home. He hadn't been able to protect her. The thought was too unsettling for Bellamy to just sit here idly.
Tears of sweat from the wound and everything else, dripped from the tips of his damp locks, heavily swallowing as he let out a small sound of discomfort, in attempt to adjust his position. He had gone against the orders, but didn't care. He didn't even give a damn about his leg. Something that had been wrapped on it to apply some pressure and the rest Abby and Jackson would have to tend to. But that was all trivial. at the moment. While he knew he wouldn't be of any use dead . . . he still hated the fact that he had been unsuccessful. The thought that it could have been the last time he saw Clarke . . . no. He couldn't even imagine that. His jaw clenched in frustration, as he turned his head to look out the window, attempting to remain stoic but aware that he was crumbling. He had yelled out at Monty that they couldn't lose her . . . and had eyed Kane shortly after.
Marcus' expression had made Bellamy realize the need to sober his words, as he had said them more calmly afterwards. It wasn't disapproval he saw in the older male's eyes but it was Bellamy's realization that such outbursts, would not indicate he was in stable condition. And he needed to get back out there. He needed to find Clarke. So right now, all he could do was look out the window, withholding any expression of pain from his features . . .though it was feeling pretty damn impossible right now. He wasn't going to apologize for taking off and going against Kane's orders. And nor was he going to let it be a reason that disallowed him from going back out there. As soon as he got his leg treated, he was setting out to find Clarke. And this time, determined to bring her home.
