Freedom. We finally had that freedom when we landed on earth. But things began to go sideways when a group of people went out and one didn't come back, later on they found him. It was Jasper, she remember him. He always wears goggles. That's probably how she always remembered him, she picked up her knife that she was messing with and walked up to where Jasper was resting. Fox smiled at Monty who was leaving before she walked in and sat next to Jasper "Hey, I don't know if you know me. I'm Fox" She held out her hand and gave a smile. Since she's now here why not make friends with people. For the first time Fox was happy, she was free. But there were other problems, those people who almost killed Jasper. The fog that was deadly, but something told Fox it was just the beginning

Jasper was getting so much attention after getting back from the attack by the grounders. It amazed him how many people took an interest in him. Now he knew what it felt like to be popular, someone people wanted to talk to. It felt great. His body didn't feel great. It hurt, like a bitch, but he would endure. He had to keep a brave face to everyone that wanted to talk to him. Once Monty left him alone, a girl came in. He had seen her before, but hadn't talked to her. She glanced at him as she sat down. "Hey, I don't know if you know me. I'm Fox" She smiled and held out her hand. He shook her hand and gave a smile back. "Hi, Fox. I'm Jasper. But I guess you already knew that." He gave an awkward chuckle. Gosh. He was such an idiot. It seemed that everyone here knew who he was now. His excuse was that it was a polite thing to say, no matter if they knew your name already. "You here to listen to my story?" He asked. It seemed that that was the only reason why people came to talk to him, not that he minded of course. He loved to tell the story, almost. There was still something about it that made his wound hurt, a ghost pain. But no one needed to know that. He was the macho man now.

Fox chuckled and raised her knees up to her chest as she rested her arms around her knees. "I suppose you don't remember me, when we were kids I was in the cafeteria eating and that's when you accidentally spilled orange juice all over my pants" Fox laughed a little remembering that time, she looked at him and it seemed to her that people would only come talk to Jasper to head his story. But that wasn't the case for Fox. She was here as his friend, well new friend. "So I'm not gonna ask how your feeling because that includes talking about it. So how about we go practice? Any good with knife throwing?" Fox asked as she grabbed her knife from her belt and slightly smiled at him

She told him that they had met before, and he smiled happily. "Yes! The juice incident. Oh. I am SO sorry about that." He remembered now, and he felt bad for not recognising her. "Are your pants ok?" He wanted to make a light joke. Of course it had been years since that incident, but it was as clear as day in his mind.
He was glad to hear that she wasn't here for his story, and he didn't realise that he would be so glad. Yes the popularity was a bonus, but sometimes he just needed to NOT think about what had happened. She pulled out a knife as she suggested knife throwing. He gave a small smile. "I am up for anything, to be honest. Lying here in bed is boring." He stood up, grimacing for just a moment from his wound, but it quickly subsided. "But I'm warning you I'm not amazing at knife throwing." He grabbed his own knife and smiled lightly at her. "So don't laugh."

A slight smile formed upon Fox's face and chuckled at Jasper's joke "Well they reeked like juice and it got pretty sticky after awhile. But don't worry Jasper, it's all good" From what she remembered Jasper was this awesome guy, she always remembered him so well because of his goggles he always wore. Fox noticed his grimace when he stood up and she just couldn't believe it, why would grounders do so,etching like that? But then again the grounders were out to kill. Plus the more he moved and active he was the better he will get. They both headed out and ended just right outside of camp in front of a huge tree. Well it didn't really matter considering all the trees were big. "Okay so, in order for you to really hit something you have to put all your energy into it. Which it sounds weird but trust me it works. Just hold the knife on the edge, move your arm back. And throw, with all force" She threw the knife and it went flying as it hit the tree and stuck inside. She smiled and looked at Jasper. Of course it was easier said then done but Fox knew he could do it

"Well they reeked like juice and it got pretty sticky after awhile. But don't worry Jasper, it's all good" She told him, and he smiled, a small chuckle escaping from his lips. Ah well, at least she had a sense of humour. He didn't understand people who couldn't laugh at a simple joke, those people who are so serious all the time. How could they live like that? But if seemed as though Fox wasn't like that. Good, he thought.
She explained to him how to throw the knife properly. He watched as she demonstrated. He gripped the edge of his knife, aimed, and tried to put as much force to it as possible. He hit the tree exactly where he wanted, but it didn't stick. The point had dug in only a slight inch, but wouldn't hold. The knife fell to the ground with a soft thud. "Whoops." He said with a small laugh. He walked over and grabbed his knife, bending down. There was a sharp pain, but he held it in, clenching his jaw shut. When he turned back to Fox he was smiling again. "I guess I'll have to try harder." He pulled out her knife and walked back over to her, holding the handle out to her.
He was glad to be out and about, and not have to worry about certain things. Of course there were things that needed to be worried about, such as the grounders. But he didn't want to think about that right now. He was here for some training apparently. -----

Fox slightly chuckled when he threw the knife. She instantly felt a little but bad considering she wasn't suppose to laugh. Well he wasn't the worst that she's seen here, she noticed when he bent down he stayed standing up for a second before turning around and putting a smile. He didn't need to toughen up, he was hurting she could see that. Fox was about to open her mouth but she stopped herself and grabbed the knife. She took a deep breath before she put the knife back I'm her pocket "You know what, why don't we just go for a walk. Get some fresh air and I heard exercising is good for any kinda of wound" Fox slightly laughed as they began to walk "You know even though we agreed not to talk about it you don't need to be a tough guy, it's okay, I'm here if you want to talk about it. Get out anything you need to get out of your system"

The impromptu training didn't seem to last long as Fox decided that they would instead go for a walk. Jasper somehow knew that she had seen him in pain, and for a moment it annoyed him. He wasn't fragile, he could do anything. But on the other hand he was glad. Walking was good. They started to walk and it was nice, just to be with someone he didn't particularly know, and who wanted to be there genuinely just for his company. At least that's what it seemed like. "You know even though we agreed not to talk about it you don't need to be a tough guy, it's okay, I'm here if you want to talk about it. Get out anything you need to get out of your system"
Jasper didn't say anything for a moment, and he appreciated the gesture, but he didn't know her very well, he wasn't going to speak his mind about anything. That's what... Monty was here for. Or so he thought. Monty seemed to be in some sort of a mood lately. It was frustrating. "Oh, thanks for the offer." Jasper just replied. He didn't want to shut her down completely... But. It also left it open for him to say something. Maybe even about Monty. But he wasn't sure if he wanted to say anything, so he just shut his mouth and continued to walk.
