While Laeta had never been an excessively outgoing, Hester was convinced she never went out and because of that she constantly sent her out to do things. Everytime they were low on supplies Lae was sent out to the market place to pick them up, Hester always claimed it was because she was far too busy for such things, but Laeta knew it was because she was determined to make her get out with other people. Which is exactly why Laeta found herself out at the market place on this nice breezy day. Honestly though Laeta would have been outside in some other fashion anyway, she liked nice days like these and thoroughly enjoyed going out for a walk. Usually with a person of her choosing though, because she did have a few friends. It wasn’t like she was an anti-social person, but Hester was the type of person who could look at someone and be their friend so Lae’s personality didn’t make sense to her.
Lae walked through the market wearing a loose fitting blue dress that crossed at the top to go over each shoulder and tied around her neck. Her back would have been exposed had it not been for the thin brown shawl she draped over her shoulders covering any skin on her back and the upper half of her arms. She held a basket in her hands filled with the items they used to barter, which typically consisted of medical related supplies. Of course she was well known in this market and they typically stayed with traders they knew and trusted. Today though seeing as she didn’t have much else to do she wandered from stall to stall just looking.
She came to a wood working stall and found a pretty little figurine of a wolf. The wood had intricate designs carved into it, obviously whoever the man behind the stall took great pride in his work. Laeta stayed at the stall looking closely at the wood and trying to decide if this was worth dipping into her personal supplies to trade for. While she was busy greatly admiring the palm sized wolf she suddenly was pushed over from behind her as someone walked straight into her. ”Hey! The hit sent her stumbling to the side dropping her basket and she looked up, her hazel eyes fierce with irritation as she turned to find who it was that had just so rudely bumped into her.
now we're picking fights and slamming doors
