THE HELL WE WANT
It had been close, but Bellamy was able to convince Octavia to let him help. It was after all why he had gone out there. Indra was with her and while Bellamy didn't trust her for a second, his sister understood how much was at stake. The lives of three of their people, including the man she loved. So with that, and a solid plan that involved Miller, Harper, with Monty and Bryan whom Bellamy had convinced to join this plan, they had managed to execute it. Perfectly in fact. It didn't involve having to kill any Arkers, and resulted in the freeing of Kane, Lincoln, Sinclair, and the Grounders that were being kept held there. Bellamy knew the risks of letting them out. They knew the inside of Arkadia; they could use it against them, especially in retaliation.
It was a risk that Bellamy had taken and knew that if it came back and bit him in the ass . . . then he would never forgive himself for being responsible for the death of more of their people. That was a conversation he would need to have with Lincoln. Right now, they were more focused on getting the hell out of Arkadia. They headed to a cave that they could claim shelter in for the night. They had a few guns among them, and Bellamy offered to take first watch, keeping guard. He let the others rest inside the shelter of the cave. Just because they were out of Arkadia, didn't mean they were in the clear just yet.
He stood a little bit of distance away, gun gripped in his hands as his eyes cautiously looked straight ahead. He knew he couldn't return Arkadia now, for Pike would figure out that Bellamy had freed the others. But Pike had hit Bellamy's trigger. Threatening any of his people, was something that he could not stand for. The moment a threat was placed upon them, was the moment that Bellamy's loyalty caused him to act, within the law or outside of it didn't matter . . . so long as it involved protecting his people. Hearing footsteps emerging from the cave, Bellamy saw Lincoln approach, looking over the male for a moment. "Everyone doing ok?" He asked, referring to the others inside, who could rest at least for now. The Grounders would need to go back to their homes but it wasn't safe just yet.
